You know that high pitch beep you hear after something super loud, like an explosion? here's a five second effort to reproduce that sound. It fades out towards the end like the person either comes back to themselves or passes out. There's probably some on freesound already but i couldn't find them so i just made my own in audacity.

I've put this sound as public domain (cc0) so i (and you) don't have to fiddle with figuring out the minutiae of various cc licenses. Go crazy! use it for anything you like, but do drop me a line and tell me how you're using it! i'd love to hear. Dropping a metal finger band ring 3 times onto my wooden dining room table. Could be interesting for musical applications e. G. Textures in a drum loop, or even foley work. Recorded at 24bit 48k into reaper on a macbook promicrophone: zoom h4n through the onboard stereo mics. Processing: only a gentle highpass at 50 hz.

Loop of a hum similar to that of a small vibrating cellular telephone used in silent mode to avoid distracting tones with incoming calls.

This was obviously a little aggressive and a demanding production. It's not much like trap, maybe it could be suitable for a rap or hiphop. The idea of using the car for the chase scene is nice.

Let me just say, this is way more popular than i anticipated it being. I'd like to thank everyone contacting me to use it in their films and what not and also apologize to them, since my freesound account was connected to an email that i no longer use.
