Samples of the vintage korg mini pops 45 drum machine. No processing applied here but a very gentle fft based noise reduction. After all, i figured background noise was part of the machine's sonic identity. No patterns here, since that would have taken forever, just the individual sounds. Some of them alone, some of them combined. Recorded mono with a zoom h2n thru the machine's "amp" output.

Grabación realizada en el zócalo de la ciudad de méxico, en julio 2019. Se escucha un tambor tradicional mexica (huéhuetl) y el rumor de la gente en la plaza. Recording made at downtown mexico city, in july 2019. A traditional mexican drum (huéhuetl) and the rumor of people in the square are heard.

Manipulated sounds, mainly dogs barking, recorded into a korg kaoss pad3 from a hp computer. The recordings on each pad edited to fit a time frame. Played on four pads on the korg pad and recorded back into the hp computer into cubase. Then manipulated further using standard eq and a tint of reverb. Location: reykjanesbær, iceland.

I was hitting my wood desk with the tips of my fingers at the beggining then tapping my fingernails and then i was hitting my palms and the ring on my hand also made a sound.
