This was filmed during summer morning in june, 2018 in the lush woodlands of duddingston village. It's one of my favourite places to visit and most of my nature videos are recorded here. A little test recording i did with my brand new pair of jrf series d hydrophones. The 'phones were placed into the bottom of a large glass, which i then filled with carbonated water.
3 f-18 superhornets did a series of flyby's directly over my neighborhood on nov 12th 2011. I caught sound of the last 2 fly-overs with my zoom h4. The jets were not as close together in this last fly-over.

Should be a great audio joke for all your inspired military style films to randomly insert playing from a tactical radio in the middle of no where for those who get it. Tascam dr-07 mkii stereo inserted directly into a motorola cls series radio and did a basic normalization in sony sound forge to make it more audible. I may or may not do requests depending on how many people like this. We'll see.

Hawaiians go absolutely nuts on new years eve. This segment shows around midnight. Recorded in my back yard in a "quiet" subdivision in kihei, maui. You'll find several files in this series. Hope you find them useful - or at least entertaining! enjoy!.
A series of nondescript samples recorded in a fashion inspired by error. They are made so that even if they are arranged in a rhymthmicaly correct order, they still sound horrible. The samples come from unearthed past tracks.
Synth strings through home-made combfilter (32 reason peq-2 two band parametric eqs in series). Samples originally made with reason & logic softsynths. 37 samples, in minor 3rds, looped in redmatica keymap's penrose loop algorithm, and squeezed into 16 mb!.

Inspired by recent makenoise cicada series. Added clouds to an o-ctrl (fast) sequenced mimeophon output and sending partly back though feedback loop. X-pan did the rest using ochd as the lfo mod. Source for panning and fade in/out.
