A fidgety drum and bass loop with a cowbell, a bunch of claps, shakers and tambourines, arranged in fl studio, run through fl studio's gross beat plugin, which was set to 1/2 speed slow, and this is what the original and the processed drumloop sound like combined.

Percussion made in blok modular. Kind of morphs around but plenty of bongos and some kind of shaker towards the end. You can maybe get a couple of claps out of the end part too. Sometimes sounds a little too fm-y (think sega genesis sounds) but others sound pretty organic imo.

First upload. Recorded with zoom h4n. It's flax seed in an empty plastic spice container. It's a 16th note rhythm amd it loops perfectly at 130 bpm. It has some fairly subtle panning effects. Eight quarter notes long, but also works really well every 4 quarters, every three etc. I. E. When doubled and even tripled on itself in a sequencer.

Done with hdp2 and two sennheiser mics 66 67, was in 24 bit 96khz, downconverted to 16b at 44. 1, a relatively clean recording at a very high level.

An almost similar snare sound to that of idioteque in radiohead's 2000 album kid a. Though it is meant for experimental style, i think it would work with any form of electronic music. It was created by resonating noise from audacity, filtering it, fading it out, stretching it and compressing it. It has a characteristic sustain to it. Imagine it as a mix of a gunshot, cymbal, shaker and snare. Feel free to use it in any way you like. If you ever use it publicly or commercially, notify me so that i can hear how you used it.

I was bored and made this loop on fl studio (jumpscare warning at the end). I needed a rattle-snake sound for a tracklay so recorded myself shaking my salt and pepper grinders. Considering i recorded this on a stereo mic in the bedroom of my two-bed flat, i think it came out pretty well!. This is the processed version, which has been through noise reduction and high-pass filtering (soft cut off begins somewhere around 200hz). I believe that this has drastically improved the raw recording, but if you would like to use the original and process it yourself, feel free to send me a message and i will upload it. Recorded using my zoom h1 at 48k/32-bit (because i didn't realise it wasn't set to 96k. . . Whoops!).

Clean, dry recording of a roughly half-filled metal can (the ribbed kind used for most canned food - probably steel, tin, or a blend of the two) containing dry oatmeal being shaken. A variety of forces and speeds were used to create a diverse assortment of sounds. Originally recorded specifically for canned oatmeal sounds, but could easily work for shaken cans containing most kinds of tiny, dry granules such as rice, nuts, grains, etc. A metal can was used for the unique, metallic timbre it produces - a glass jar or plastic container would sound different. Recorded with a behringer xm8500 directly into a steinberg ur22c interface at 48khz, 32-bit float. True 32-bit, not just 24-bit upconverted.

This is one of two morphagene reels made from one-of-a-kind handmade electro-acoustic instruments and found objects created by sound designer and musician nathan moody, an outgrowth of his 2018 album, "the right side of mystery.
