A mysterious dark melody i made on oboe in garageband to something called victors crypt. It's basically a melody i think would fit perfect to something haunting, eerie and evil. Maybe a horror-flick, an intro to a pod or anything you can imagine dark. I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. Throw horns, dance & hail satan!.

This is an instrumental bit i made in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's basically 2 acoustic guitars with piano, flute and a synth over it. Think it would be cool for an intro/outro/part in something a bit spooky and eerie. Or maybe suspence or mystic. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. Throw horns, dance and hail satan!.

Messing around in logic with some surround impulse responses and delay designs. Ended up with something that sounded a bit like a submarine sonar blip. . So i added the sound of a fridge, time stretched using the flex tool and pitch adjusted and now it sounds almost real :).

A simple sound of an egg shell cracking. It was actually made by taking an index card and smashing it twice between my palms, putting them together, mixing and editing in audacity. Not very super realistic, but sounds good if it's flying and hits something.

This is part of a piece that originally lasted for just over eighteenminutes! because the group i'm in decided not to use it, but instead towork on something similar in the future, i thought i'd split some partsup for people to use. Electro-acoustic guitar plugged straight into four track tape recorder.

There's a bit at the start when i open my window but the rest should be a clean recording of the like, 8 ducks that were sitting on my tree having a little duck party or something.

24 bit sound, zoom h6 xy configuration. Recorded somewhere in krippen, germany - the surrounding area was very quiet and full of trees. Sometimes you can hear a bird chirping and something that seems like somebody doing some wood related activity.

This is an unusual cat purring track. The cat (his name is squeek) has a rather high, loud vocal range. Try the eq'd version catpurr01lp if you want something closer to normal. Edited and noise reduction via audacity. Enjoy- i think squeek did.

I put this recording through a 'pitch looper' a program called cecilia, really cool program if you want to produce something similiar. The original recording i've also uploaded separately was taken with a rode nt4 mic and with a didge of mine in the key of b from northern queensland (kuranda).

The definition of entropic is having a tendency to change from a state of order to a state of disorder. An example of something entropic is a building which is being demolished. This is an not that entropic version of the entropical paradise patch made in vcv-rack.

The sound of something or someone shrieking rhythmically in the cemetery while i was passing by around midnight. The shrieking went for probably 30 seconds at a time, with pauses of around 30 seconds in between. I recorded it on my cell phone, so it's terrible quality.

This sounds like something else, but my bf bought a new starter motor for my car. I guess he didn't think i should be able to hold it up in the palm of my hand. It's a small car, after all.

My first posted sound effect, this is something made on my synthesizer for fun this morning that i think people could get use out of for horror videos and such, as the sound kind of reminds me of a spider or some kind of creature not unlike one scuttling across a wooden floor.

Simple type of chord progression, low gain type of distortion with a mild flange effect. Probably good for a break or intro but could be used for more if broken up. Changes tempo and tone near the end into something completely different.

Four quiet clangs, recording in a brick stairwell. I hit the metal railing of the staircase and let the sound ring. Sounds kind of eerie and distant, like something you'd hear in a factory or maybe on a big iron ship or submarine. Recorded with a zoom h4n.

The nightly visit of something unidentified object, got a new and historic aftermath. Jay prusse at nasa happened to have his radio scanner on and captured a strong but short signal that was repeated for one minute. Specialists found that the signal actually formed this word 'mirabut'. No one has a clue what this word means.

This is my old bedsheet being torn apart with bare hands. I have recorded this in 96khz/24-bit with a zoom h2, then normalized and saved as a 16-bit. This sample has a lot of sounds of tearing (unedited) so i think anyone can find something useful in it :).

Created this by saying something like, "testing the mic" in ableton, right clicking and converting that audio. Midi > into melody. . Then adding some stock sound and some reverbs and what not. . Try it yourself.

Repeated cry for help with echo and delay. The voice maybe hasn't been modified enough to sound really spooky, and the one falsetto 'help me' may prevent it from being scary. But that might be useful, if you don't want something very intense (e. G. To keep the tone lighter).

This was created by accident while trying to make engine noises. I can't remember the base sample but it's lost in the mix underneath reverb and other effects that create something that sounds to me like the interior of a helicopter. I hope that's useful to someone.

I was recording with audacity on my blue yeti whilst in my room. The mic was totally unbalanced on my bed and it eventually fell over but when i played it back it sounded like a nice whoosh or poof. Also if you put it in reverse it sounds like a giant wind flap like a bird or something.

This sound is a recorded sound from a hammer tapping the metal, i modified it using some effects :1-normalize2-change the pitch ( from a#/bb to c)3-change the tempo with percentage=-90. 000. The final sound gives an impression of something that slips over the barriers.

This sound is made from ground up intirely on the computer. It was meant to sound like something is breaking down. Actually it's made up of two sounds mixed together. The one is a chip (snack) that is being crushed and the other is a drawer being smacked hardly. The entirety is then downpitched. Made with adobe audition and a regular cheap microphone.

This is an edited sound of a real gun being cocked. (don't worry, safety was on and there was no ammo cartridge in it. ) the first 3 are good cocking sounds, and the rest can be used for dry firing or something else. You can use it without crediting me, but it would be cool if you did.

Something i did for a thing called victors crypt. I did it in garageband using chords of strings as the main theme in the tune. Ian dury used something like this in "what a waste". . . It's the gurgling noise made when the last of the water runs down a bathroom sink plughole. Conveys almost as much meaning as a cistern flushing, but in a shorter time (smaller file size). As ever (with my stuff) no "noises off" and so ready for mixing!.
