To create this sound i recorded a disposable lighter in my bedroom. To record, i used my aston spirit microphone on cardioid polar pattern and my focusrite scarlett 18i20 second generation (2nd gen) interface running pro tools from my mac at 48khz, 24 bit. I also used a reflection filter to lower rt60 so this sound has minimal reverb to tape. The cable i used was made of canford hst cable and has neutrik xlr connectors.

This is the result of my big work with some samples from freesound and some samples that i made by myself. They were mixed all together and edited using lots of vst effects and software, reversed many times and mixed again, sampled in lo-fi quality and then again and again. . At first i wanted to use it by myself but then i thought: "why not share it with people? that can be useful. ". So please use it as you like, maybe you're an ambient or avantgarde music producer as me, and that can help you in your music. . Could be useful as a background. Enjoy!.

The wav file is a dual mono file. Left channel is close perspective, recorded with an akg c2000b. Right channel is a bit more distant perspective, recorded, not sure, with a rode ntg1. Both on fostex fr2-le.

I make with very old radio station microphone on apple computer. Some adjusters work, some do not. I try long time. Crazy sound!.

Recorded just after the clock struck midnight, signaling the beginning of 2023 in greenville, south carolina with a tascam dr-05 stereo recorder. Very nice clear recording with basically zero unwanted noises except for an occasional light water drip. Audio edited to perfection by me. ;) did some light eq, compression, limiting, and stereo balancing, as well as removing some of the constant ambient white noise hiss. From frederick noad's book: 'idiots guide to playing the guitar. ' noad plays it so beautifully, i could never match him, but i just wanted to try it with the electric instead. Recorded with my squire tele and squire bass into the focusrite interface. The guitar went through the walrus slo pedal on 'dream' setting with editing done in reaper. (shout out to kenny gioia for the tips). Bass was run through my behringer bxl 1800 bass amp and through the interface. Both instruments were triple tracked. A rifle being dropped on the floor 3 times. Very metallic-y sounding drop sound with tons of bass. This one was sort of a happy accident. I was recording some ak foley with an airsoft gun i had when i accidentally dropped it. The sound it made turned out so good that i ended up using it for this. It's a 15-minute long drum improvisation. It contails a lot of different beats and rhythms played so you might cut-out some loops for your needs. The kit has:- single kick- snare- hihat- 3 toms- broken crash that sounds really short- ride. The kit was old and not in perfect condition. I also used my sticks to play on some other part of the drumkit, like metal stand for the crash etc. I also got up and stated running around in a circle hitting sticks together and afterwards hitting drums and cymbals while running around the drumkit. I took my shoes off before i started so you can't hear my footsteps. I didn't use a metronome and i know i don't hold the tempo and it's a bit wiggly sometimes. I think this performace was inspired by band mr. Bungle. I recorded this with zoom h2 handy recorder's front stereo xy mics. It was standing on a table about one meter above the floor. Facing the drumkit and me. It was captured into a 48khz/24-bit wav file, then i trimmed the ends and converted this to flac using audacity. No processing applied, though i think it sounds nicer when you put these effects:. 1. A compressor:-attack: 10ms-release: 50ms-ratio: 2. 5:1-treshold: around -24db2. A reverb:-decay: 1. 5 to 2 seconds-dry: 0db-wet: around -15 db. It amazes me how much energy compression actually adds to drums!. I made this with my podcast (http://unfamusic. Com/fnr/) in mind. Hi. This soundfile was recorded on 03. 06. 2017 in szczecin, nw poland (gumience district to be precise). The time of this recording is from around 3 a. M. (when the sun was allready rising) till around 7:30 a. M. What's funny about that, is that i turned my recorder on and layed it on the windowsill (display up) on altitude around 5 meters (first floor), (the recorder is facing ne direction) because the birds were allready going crazy!, and after some time i felt asleep, and the recorder was left on. There are many many kinds of birds around, cause there is a big cementery near by, with lots of trees, and some wild fruit orchard too. I had this one moment, when the birds were so active, that let's say they spinned it me around, and worked me up to a beautifull spiritual moment with their sounds, and then i felt asleep. Later through the recording you can hear me snoring, you can hear my alarm clock going on (and that haven't woken me up too;). The bass resonance of cars passing by makes this recording a bit heavy in some places, and the wind made it's mark too, but that shoudn't be a big of an issue here. As i listen to it now, so much things happened while i was asleep. . . [ 3:30 a. M. !: some people are singing and speaking, and you can clearly hear one of them saying: "kurwa, grubo", which means - "f**k, heavy". Later on, the neighbours weren't sloppy too;). Hearing such recordings doesn't give you the liminous feeling of the place where it was recorded. You only get audio here, not the vision, the light, the brightness, the movement, the actions, and the space, the physical elements, only the best can imagine (so if you don't have such an imagination, pm me and i can send you a photo of the place where all this took place). Anyway, i hope that the birds will keep rockin' their solos, and the bees will keep visiting all the flowers around forever! (who knows, i might become one of them sometime;). I was just going through my sounds, when i decided "hey. . . I'm gonna release this. " so here you all go! i'm really proud of how this turned out. This, as you can tell, is a deep eerie ambience loop. It can be used for anything you want. I like to leave things up to the imagination of the audience. How it was made:. Software used:-fl studio 20-harmor-harmless-fruity parametric eq 2-valhallaroom. So basically what i did was get a low pitch sawtooth waveform, put it through some effects like harmonization, a low pass filter with high resonance, a phaser, and a load of distortion. The main synth is made with harmor. (yes, this is all one synth. It just has a lot of dynamics. ) i then processed it with some eqing. What made this sound what it is would be the reverb. I put 2 layers of valhallaroom on the synth. One has a very short decay time, and gives it texture. The other gives it the atmosphere. To add some more depth, for the final touch, i layered a sub-bass underneath it. Which is just a low sine-wave with reverb on it, which i used harmless to make. I hope you enjoy this!.

Warning: lots of bad language. _. Funny story actually. Ever heard of that creepypasta about boothworld industries? well, i had called the number out of curiosity and got an automated message from said "industry. " hours later, i received a call back from a live person. I tried to record the call but wasn't quick enough. These are my sounds of disbelief, terror, and excitement immediately after the call. I took out any specific mentions so that this can be used for any type of horrified reactions. And in case you're wondering, everything is okay. It's a loooooooong story.

The sound of birds and distant thunder awoke me from a long nap, and so i sprung off the couch and grabbed my recording equipment, dashing outside just in time to record the arrival of a thunderstorm. Over the course of this clip, the storm gets closer and closer, until it starts to rain with increasing intensity. The clip is nicely unmolested by wind, and contains a nice background of birds. A tremendous thunderclap is featured in the middle, three minutes in.

I tried and tried and tried to find a genuine audio recording of a sandstorm, but all i could find were synthetic mixes. What genuine audio i did find always had some other noise or voice polluting the audio. So, i found a couple of great wind audio recordings, some wind rustling a dry corn field, and some low earth rumbling and combined all of that to create the closet approximation i could to the authentic sandstorm audio i was able to find but couldn't use. I hope others find this audio useful in any of your projects. Feel free to use with no worries.

So i got bored and decided to create a mock rwt. This is just me rambling on about it. Don't worry, i'll include the links i said i would in the description of the mock rwt. Also, this sound will not be included in the noaa weather radio pack. I appologize if this upsets you, but i figured it's not exactly nwr content.
