Recorded this group of disabled vets who were playing all kinds of instruments around the temples at angkor wat. A high pitched reedy sound is from a blade of grass. I don't recall the rest of the instruments. Background noise are jungle animals.

Recorded in pritzker park in the south loop area of downtown chicago. I am sitting towards the back (west) of the park near the end of the path. The microphones are pointed roughly southeast towards the el train tracks. Time of the recording was 5:22pm. Weather was warm, in the upper 80s. This is a short radio patch from the houston fbi field office, calling to the houston dea field office. They do a radio check test every thursday night, and i recorded this from my police scanner! they call various federal agencies around southeast texas, but this is just a sample of a decent reply. Summer afternoon sounds at denver, colorado's union station water sculpture plaza, with children playing. Sitting and facing to the southeast, toward the center of water installation, with its alternating flying arcs of water. Recorded at 24/96 using a sound professionals ms-tfb-2 binaural mic set with 12vdc battery box and a sound devices mixpre-6. Initially uploaded as redbook audio, but the 96khz seems to have the best spatial clarity and so i'm resubmitting this now without that downsampling step, for those who download.

I stood quite sheltered from the wind, above me the rustling trees from the breeze that was just blowing. In the distance a dog was barking. Nice stereo effect :-). The recording is edited.
