This is a multisample of my stylophone as i move up the notes then after reaching the top i sweep upwards on the notes. This is of moderate quality, is a dry signal, but it is probably badly out of tune.
Cafetaria recording processed by slicing, filtering, and then randomly played samples while sweeping bandpass filter. Added some multivoice echo and reverb.
Test of a fire alarm in a large corporate office plaza full of right angles, polished marble and glass surfaces. Captured in mid-wilshire, los angeles in 2016.
Using a variety of 1980s radios connected via a headphone output to the computer, i tuned in - across the entire bandwidth - of the mw and lw channels. I also captured the static hiss of those bands, 'dead air'. There are small clips of various stations along the way but i was looking for that 'tuning in' sound that was so familiar when radio was the central part of every teenager's life.
A sequence in a minor. Spring reverb feedback. Filter sweeps controlled by nlc sloth. I'm not using a sequencer. There are other was to obtain a sequence on a modular synth.
Helicopter chopper techno rendition using filter sweep of strega and sequenced through 0-ctrl and 0-coast. Done at 32-bit fp and 48khz with markers for morphagene. Enjoy!.
Ir recorded in a uk red telephone box. Originally recorded with a full sine sweep but uploaded as a processed spike. Some nasty stuff around 280/300hz but hey, that's a phone box for ya. .
From the source: "this is a multisample of my stylophone as i move up the notes then after reaching the top i sweep upwards on the notes. this is of moderate quality, is a dry signal, but it is probably badly out of tune"
Hyderabad street ambience, recorder with zoom h6 from 4th floor, 24-bit, 48khz sample rate. Includes, hvmc sweeping, vehicles passing by, construction work, vehicles honking etc.
Inflation of nos balloon recorded on wide diaphragm condenser, with acoustic dampening around the mic but not in studio conditions - should be pretty cool for a non synthy noise sweep, or for a snare layer.
This is a sine-wave that sweeps from low to high. Cassette emulator is added and some reverb. A long high pitched tail is at the end, which i forgot to remove. Inspired by the film "wavelength" by michael snow.
Warning-bass! keep it low on preview! this is for testing low range frequencies in controlled environments, you've been kindly warned=d. 20hz to 190hz sine wave sweep. Length=13 secondsbpm=128bars=7. .
Cicadas from hell. 6 pulse waves (cwejman vco-2rm, two audio frequency generators, and instruo cs-l), frequency/filter sweep modulated by e350 morphing terrarium. Overall frequency shifting by an e520 hyperion effects processor.
The next sound is on a smooth sweeping of plastic bracelets which collide against each other, and generating a loud sound. The sound was recorded with zoom h4 handy recorder stereo using the built - in microphones and was modified with noise reduction removing the alternative sounds and with compression.
I may have used one of the absynth instrumentsto get this effect. It was a while ago however andwhile i still think it's cool, i have a hard timefitting it into my newer music.
Impulse response recorded in the mediterranean conference centre. Valletta, malta. In the knights hall. A medieval hospital used by the crusaders. Main concert venue was too impractical to record an ir but the long cavernous knights hall was empty so hey. . . Let's sweep. .
A re-edit of this::. Https://freesound. Org/s/145592/. Filtered it a few times and added a few reverbs. All done in cool edit. . . I mean adobe audition.
Droid kinda sounds from the lovely polygogo eurorack module. In this case it was processing cv input from an external lfo. Useful for laser sounds, droids, future computers, etc.
Sounds like a laser going off, then a big rumbling explosion. Created in adobe audition using the generate tones to create a saw wave sweeping from 22khz to 20 hz, then reverbed and eq'd.
Apple imac is a silent computer. I don't hear almost any noise from it, but i tried giving a microphone-sweep over the screen, which surprised me. You can hear various kinds of noise in a close audition. A dynamic mic.
A re-mix of this sound::. Https://freesound. Org/s/440700/. Pitched it down a bit, ran it through a bpf on a low sweeping rate, then through a phaser with a low rate, then a flange, then compressed the daylights out of it. Yeehaw.
Just stretched and re reverbed this sound:. Http://freesound. Org/people/matvey/sounds/14390/#comments. Use, re-edit, abuse, freak, tweak out, and re post.
In honor of my new guru pramahansa yogananda, i searched for a swan sample. Then i added: time stretch, high pass sweep, flange, rotator pann, delay @ 124 bpm,. Thank you guru, namaste.
I made this as a strange wake-up alarm. I was wondering at what point i will wake-up? what frequency will break my dream and bring me back on earth?. Created using audacity.
