This time a more abstract sound clip which in that case was prerecorded (bell 1) altered to the extend and used from mono back to eight channel ending up l+r. Although its abstract atmosphere the modular effects rings on a specific structure using 20th century harmony "rules" and of course tempo. Enjoy!.

Thunder sound synthesized from a randomly generated tone, and processed (in audacity) with: multivoice chorus, harmonic sythesizer, tons of gverb, 2-second delay, and fade-in/fade-out where appropriate. I recorded this effect in orpington, england, on a mixpre3 recorder with a beyerdynamic mce72 stereo mic 24bit 48k wav. I caught this pair of canadian geese flying overhead and landing in a nearby pond during lockdown in orpington. March 17th 2021 at 0630am. The a21 is ever present but a lot less traffic noise at this time of day.

It's summer time buildings arround with open windows brings many sounds from the apartments: television, musique, broken glass, other voices. France, 2018. Recorded with schoeps ab ortfrecorded on nagra ares bbwave stereo, 48khz, 24bits.

First spring time thunderstorms hit the metro detroit today. This is a short sample of my original 2 hour recording that i thought was particularly nice. You'll hear several little thunder rumbles and rain in an city night atmosphere. Feel free to use.

Springtime in greenacres, washington. The birds are singing loudly, the wind is blowing, traffic can be heard in the distance, and an airplane flies overhead. Also heard is a distant train horn, a next door rooster, and a distant horn signalling break time at the paper mill.

A musical bottle holder offered by my best friends. Each time you lift the bottle that is placed on it, the music box chime plays if winded up. The played melody is a french song called "boire un petit coup c'est agréable". Recorded with a trust gxt258 fyru microphone connected to a macbook r.

Beginning, part ii, of an arrangement of afro blue using a 5/4 time signature --- same piano track as "afro blue five 003", but with a newer bassline. Piano (roland xv5080 + studiologic sl73 controller), bass (sadowsky 5 string), bongos (toca percussion). Recorded to sd card using a zoom r16 digital 8-track (44. 1khz, 16 bit wav format). Mixed using goldwave.

Late august here in the midwest is the time for the loud choruses of insects. This recording, done in the backyard of a small town, features the classic"ebb and flow and swell" of the dusk insects. Since a park is nearby, you also hear in the background the excited voices of kids playing---maybe these youngsters do realize that soon they will be back in school and that the joyous, careful time of summer play and reflection will soon be over. Recording made with my zoom h4n recorder using its built-in internal microphones. The volume was set on 80. Enjoy, and maybe you too can use this sound-file for your own meditation, or simply thinking and taking stock of the accomplishments and blessings during the outdoor seasons and comfortably contemplate the upcoming dark, and bare and gray seasons ahead.

We have the movie "chronicles of riddick" starring vin diesel, and at one point thandie newton walks around him, seeking approval. She gets it, as vin growls, "it's been a long time since i smelled beautiful. " his voice is incomparable, as he exudes a touch of evil with that. Nevertheless i laugh every time i hear it, because it suggests he needs a shower. Try as we might though, we can't quite duplicate it. This was the most recent and possibly best effort. We can't publish vin's voice so here you go. Repeated it once with a bit of reverb. We tried this before and it was moderated and posted. Apologies to the moderator, there was a glitch in the file because i can't get him to say "i" instead of "i've" and i had tried to remove the letter "v. ".

A recording on an un-expected but very welcome warm day in january in the northern hemisphere. A recording of the activity going on at a small park in a small town, in a small region. The beginning of this mid-january 2023 recording features some sounds from several people playing pickleball. Towards the end of this audio, the laughter of the kids really takes center stage. By now covid is getting smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror, mother nature has decided to give us an extra 15 degrees of warmth and the adults, and youngsters are having fun just being outside and smiling and laughing. After checking my mail i was walking back to the house and heard this plane approaching. I always carry my yamaha pocketrak and got it going just in time to catch this low flyover. It actually reminded me of a warplane flying over. I also left in the wind sounds that sort of sound like distant artillery. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

Another one with 1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 33 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. So, what do you think? one more time i switch looping mode off and then on. Cool technique.

I made a script in python with three balls bouncing around at different speed. When the ball hits a wall a beep is played. The slowest bass plays a 110hz beep. The middle ball a 220hz beep and the fastest a 440hz beep. Python can’t play two beeps at a time…sort of random “music”… you control the rhythm with the ball speed.

This is a second recording made from the balcony of my apartment with my iphone connected to the shure mv88 plus microphone. This time in this recording you can hear: dogs barking, my parakeet parrots singing, an ambulance in the distance and even a helicopter ride. This recording was made in the province of rieti in italy.

Sound of a single droplet. The standard sound for like a leaky faucet or a drop hitting a puddle or bucket of water. I actually made this sound with my mouth and tapping my cheek at the same time, but it is a very convincing drop sound, which can easily be looped at the speed you want for that "continuous drop" sound in the background.

This first loop in series is a simple, beat in 4/4 time run at 140 bpm. It features an extremely thick bass sound with general techno patterns you might hear in normal techno music. The pack is aimed for general use in any type of techno, trance music. The loop was created mainly with reaktor's arobic.

This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

Are there a million of these sounds in film trailers? are there a million of these sounds on freesound? not sure. Started with 100k tone - pitched it down over time - it was too low, so then i pitched the whole file up a bit. Insert to make any slow mo sweeping matrix style scene look even more awesome. . . Or not.

My vcr rewinding a vhs tape. Sounds pretty gnarly at the end. Recorded with a jm27 into my zoom h4n. As a side note, this sound was a real pain to record. Every time i set up the mic, it seemed like the ac would come on, the dog would bark, or some other sound would ruin the recording. Whatever, i got it done.

Spring at noon time, a russian olive tree is swarmed by bees gathering the nectar of the tiny yellow flowers. You can hear a distant motor, magpies, and a wind chim. Recorded with an alesis palm track with the recorder placed directly in the tree, resting on a branch. Processed with soundbooth. Nothing added except gain.

A guitar through defective self-modulating delay. The time potentiometer went "bad" after years of hard twisting and abuse, and now it warbles and pitch-shifts on it's own. It's very temperamental, though. The pedal is a johnson "ead-2 analog echo delay". May be useful for an outro or something! let me know if you use it, i'd love to hear the results!.

Some creatures chirping at night, with city ambient noise in the background. I don't know if they are birds, or bats, or what. I stayed at my grandmother's place for a few days, where these creatures are heard every night, but no one ever saw them to be able to identify them.
