Small change being rattled in a tin container, then dropped on a wooden floor. Recorded with coincident cardioid small diaphragm condensers through m-audio octane preamp and rme hdsp multicace soundcard at 48khz 24bit.

Recorded using a pair of rode lavalier microphones from a loft window. The hail stones were hitting the metal flashing (i think that it what it is called) around the window. Loved the rhythm and hypnotic nature of this. If you use this recording, please let me know as i'd love to hear how it is used.

There is a vent in my house that sounds fantastic when it rains. The drops hitting the tin cover sound almost like popping popcorn in this recording, but it's a more friendly sound in person. The rain outside is very much present in the background, but the bouncing raindrops are very easy to hear. Recorded on a windows x8 phone and left as-is. For my own obscure reason i took file 389436, looped it so that it repeats at 60 bpm, added about 25% echo, then added bilateral panning at 15 cycles per minute (cpm).

Thus is a recording of rain under a canopy with a drainpipe trickling and dripping onto a tin dustbin. Recorded with a tascam dr07 mk2.
