Stereo recording of a train arriving and departing at aldgate east tube station, and another train departing on the other track. London underground trains have rubber wheels and a characteristic kind of rumble. The doors open and close automatically. Faint tannoy announcement in the background, and a couple of electronic warning tones when the doors open and close. Aldgate east station is huge but has a surprisingly 'dry' and 'dead' acoustic so that it is very quiet when the trains have gone. Recorded on a zoom h2 recorder, front microphones, 90 degree separation. No amplification or equilisation on this sample.

Some sounds of blowing across the top of a glass bottle. Specifically a 33cl cider bottle. :-). Captured using a rode nt5 small-diaphragm condenser microphone and a zoom h5 recorder. Basic editing in ocenaudio, also applied some slight de-reverberation. I intend to record a proper version later on, including different articulations at various pitches. But that may take a while. A bit of music i made in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's minor chords and tones made out of instruments making a scary atmosphere. You feel anxious and it's creeping up on you. Sound of an old fashioned rotary telephone's receive being picked up and put down, numbers being dialed. Recorded with an h2n zoom recorder.

I created a dtmf tone with an amplitude of 0. 8 and a tone/silence ratio of 550 and during 7s. Then i amplified 1. 3 db sound. And finally i multiplied the speed of 0,960.

This is a room tone. I can't remember where i recorded it or why. I used it to produce a claustrophobic board room in medical institution for a podcast i was commissioned to do sound design for.
