I play three notes on tenor trombone: Bb3, Bb2 and Bb1. They are all in first position. The first two notes are in the standard range of the trombone, while the last note is a pedal tone. This occurs when the instrument resonates at the fundamental, rather than the 2nd harmonic. Pedal Bb is relatively easy on trombone, but much harder on trumpet (I'm unable to do it, despite being proficient at trumpet and at a beginner's level on the trombone).

This is a very brief sample obtained by opening a zip file with audacity. It sound a bit like a dial-up modem. It seems to work well for melodic solos and playing two or three note chords sounds good, too.

I made this using two oscillators in native instrument's fm8 synth. There is nothing too fancy, just two sine waves played out the same output, but one has an offset of 440hz, and the second oscillator has an offset of 330hz. This is a mono recording of a psaltery. This was recorded as-found with no tuning or cleaning done to the instrument. It is a series of single tones followed by two note chords. Dissonant and full of texture. It was recorded using an audio-technica at875r microphone at 48khz/24bit.

10 beats in 2/4 versus 5/4 and 15 beats in 3/4 versus 5/4. Multiples of two divide 2/4 evenly, and multiples of three divide 3/4 evenly (neither depiction requires ties), but neither divides 5/4 evenly (both depictions require ties). X and y comes from the nonlinearcircuits sloth lfo (regular version). X is the high sinus c, left channel. Y is the low triangle c, right channel. X and y goes to comparator resulting in a note when crossing the threshold. At the same time x and y goes to cv in on jupiter storm generating two glissando paths. The two used osc's on jupiter storm are tuned to the same pitch.

This is my attempt to emulate the sound of the harmony 64 chimes that can be heard on some ice cream trucks. Also note that these are fuma bformat files (and opposed to ambix bformat).

The dancing fountain scene at bugis junction where the nozzles shoot up the water one by one from the water jet pumps. Note that the water jet system for the fountain itself may consist of 4 patterns but this sound effect uses one of them. There are two extra patterns where the water from the nozzles goes to the center.
