A few more tones and test recordings followed by a long conversation between two women that takes up the majority of the runtime. I left in a little blank space for noise reduction purposes should anyone need to do so. ". . . You can't spend your life being unhappy, it. . . It just doesn't work. . . You gotta do what you gotta do. . . ".

You guys are probably wondering why i haven't been posting many sounds for the last month well number one so i can upload a lot of sounds at once and two i have been pretty busy with track and play practice. So now here is a bunch of sounds that were created by me either covering up or bumping my mic which i hope you will enjoy.

Recorded on february 9, 2001 in an old appartment complex lobby on the 2nd floor. We held a fundraiser for a local charity and it included a place for people to get together, play board games and an n64 was set up. The sound features three people including myself playing a multiplayer level of donkey kong, people chatting, the heater running, elevator, faint backgroudn music and the sounds of the nearby hallway.

This is part of a set of samples demonstrating the capabilities of the diy version of the hexinverter mutant clap module (eurorack/modular synth). Of particular note is the noise bleed present in some hexinverter diy products as discussed on the muffwiggler forum. Except where noted as "with vca," all samples are recorded without added effects or processing. "with vca" samples have been tidied up with an envelope modulated vca. One may choose to see the bleed as a feature or flaw. . .

Today, i was wake up in 6:45 am in morning. My mom going texas children hospital to flu shot for covid-19. My mom bought me blueberry muffin,my sister chocolate muffin and my mom bread. My mom going home depot and kroger. My mom buys cheese, lettuce, tomato and chips for nachos. I ate nachos. I was full. At 2:45 pm, i hear rain and loud thunderstorms. I recorded on my phone.

Street noises and atmosphere from a walk up first ave and across 14th street, east village, nyc. Including one very loud siren that goes from left to right. Includes a quick pop-in to the quiet lobby of the post office. I'm pretty happy with the recording overall, but the road noise sometimes sounds a bit muddied.

Recorded around midnight in mount saint francis woods in southern indiana on the kentucky border on a dr70r with shotgun mic. Not loopable as the wind picks up over time and is noticeable when you loop back to beginning. Light editing in reaper (eq down some wind sounds, splicing out distant traffic). Individual bullfrog chatter sounds also on profile.

This is one coqui singing alone. The file was remasterize to eliminate other insects and noise sounds. Was recorded in the west of puerto rico island in the caribbean on june 19, 2022. A curiosity not too many people notice is that the individuals and species sing at different hours of the night and are affected by temperature and humidity. Rain increments the volume and intensity of frequency of the different species, some days one to 3 species can sing. Others you can hear up to 6 species in conjunction with other types of none arboreus frogs.

Chefchaouen, a small town perched in morocco's rif mountains, is made up of cobbled, windy streets. These lanes are too narrow to accommodate cars, which results in very unique soundscapes. While you might hear children during the day, at night you hear men standing around, selling their wares, and chatting. This recording is from february, 2020, using a tascam dr-05x.

A 22 minute bus ride, almost silent. Only some passengers getting on and off, very short discussions with the driver and all basic sounds you can hear inside a bus. I guess this will leave you a lot of possibilities. Recorded with olympus ls-p4 onboard microphones.

The origin of this recording is a hob on the highest heat level recording slightly hot. Be very careful if you are doing this as fire is obviously detrimental to organic life and the microphone does not like to be on fire. An "acidized" (marked with loop/cue flags) sample. I imagine a furnace combusting away. Rate-shifting this sample (pitch/speed) can give you variations in your daw (digital audio workstation). This sample in particular feels appropriate for use as a background furnace sound or if sped up, a flamethrower.

This sound was created by mistake and i thought it sound perfectly like a bad transmission from radio or spacestation. I´ve cut the audiofile so it is loopable. My first recorded sound! it's actually just 6 secs long. I was on a vacation yesterday to a cottage resort, but it was a really rainy day. I decided to take out my $300 samsung to record a bit of the rain. I had the quality at 22khz, so the quality kinda sucks but it's still ok. I also have 2 more sounds (i couldn't record any more because my mic on the tablet broke and it only picks up static).

Alternate take of ye 'ole washing machine. It's just a washing machine, but could be a printing press or space ship or what ever else you can come up with !recorded from the bottom. I don't have a modular system to speak of but after watching some of divkids videos i realised my xiao could sound really nice in an ambient eurorack setup. Anyway, here's a few improv sections on my flute, only been playing 4 weeks so pardon the few bum notes. Make of it what you will but would love to hear what people come up with. Concertina loops on the way after it's been serviced.

Front channels of a 4ch-surround field recording of the interior of a german local commuter train, completely without human voices, heading from the towns of naumburg to weissenfels. The train is in full motion at the beginning of the recording, then stops, with squealing brakes and all, then starts up again and reaches full velocity. The recording was done with a zoom h2, the microphones (front) set to 90° dispersion.

This is a nice clean recording of hard-rubber soled shoes running and walking up and down metal stairs in a concrete stairwell. It's reverberant, but clean. I hope it's useful to somebody. While attribution isn't necessary, i'd love to hear what you've used it in. Also, for anybody who's interested, it was actually recorded in the parking garage of universal studios in hollywood, ca. This is something that my on-line teacher has me playing. I took up the guitar again and even though this is a short piece it has a certain beauty to it. It should be played faster, but i think it also sounds nice at this tempo. The recording has a hiss and i don't know why as my recorder is a yamaha pocketrak. I tried editing out the hiss in sound forge but it also took away some of the music sound, so this is it as recorded. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :^).

I created a chip track to which i added a reverbation effect. I copied it and then rendered both onto a new track. Reusing the same sound , i lengthened the tempo and increased the pitch on the second one. I then reused it a few times to imitate the sound of the ball bouncing off the table, speeding up the tempo and adding a fade out effect. I got a weird story for this one! i took a machine sound from my grandpa's workshop, overloaded it with flanger so it didn't even sound like a machine anymore, got a little snippet of the sound, pitch shifted it up, and repeated it, eqed it, and added some reverb. (the machine didn't have anything do do with it btw. You can do this with any sound. ) hope you guys enjoy this sound. Feel free to use this anywhere you want. :).

I needed a sound effect for an audio project, specifically the sound of someone moving around in a bathtub full of water and ice. Being too lazy to go out and get a carpload of ice cubes, i raided the ice-maker in the refrigerator and built up a stockpile, then dumped them all into the metal kitchen sink, added some water and a few empty ice cube trays for flavor, and stirred them about using a glass mixing bowl and a wooden spoon.

A sound of an umbrella handle expanding and retracting, making clicking sounds. Great for foley and sound design. Recorded with a tascam tm-80 in a non sound proofed room, without an anti-pop filter. The umbrella was fairly close from the mic during recording. The post-processing was minor, just an eq to cut out some of the superfluous low frequencies. You can mention me if you like to, or give a link to the project containing this sound, but that's totally up to you.

A dell dimension l600r being booted up and turned off. This will work nicely for those needing genuine sounds from an old computer. The mic was placed directly inside the computer's chassis with the side door closed. No noise-removal has been applied on this recording. Most of the sound in this recording comes from the maxtor hard drive, as well as the 3. 5 floppy drive, cpu fan, and psu fan. Also includes a post beep.

I recorded people blowing up fireworks in my neighborhood last night with a zoom 6 using the stereo mics. Then i isolated individual sounds and tweaked the eq some in adobe audition, then ran those sounds back-to-back to make these "machine gun" sounds. Let me know what you think? Long easy rain. Recorded from my front porch the evening of may 22, 2018. Almost half an hour; slice it up to use your favorite parts. Rain slows down around 3:00. Some distant thunder around 16:20. Look out for a few small ambient noises like splashes or traffic. A perfect audio bed under your sound design of a rainy scene. Or layer it to create a storm.

This is a recording of my stone fireplace burning with a zoom h4n pro. I was burning wet, north carolina lob-lolly pine so that i would end up with a nice, consistent popping sound. Great for any fireplace scene when used at various volume levels. Enjoy!. Christopher c. Courter.

I decided to bring my wind chimes inside and recorded them with an mxl 910 microphone into my computer using a focusrite scarlett 18i20 interface with the gain turned up a bit. I then chopped 15 samples i liked from the entire recording and formatted them into a make noise morphagene reel containing 15 splices. I am very pleased with the results, especially when patched into clouds or using an eventide space pedal for example. Enjoy!.

Short brushes with my hand on small rocks. Recording in the city is hard but i found a small canyon made of rocks in a park which helped block out traffic noise. Formula one race cars pack passing in turn 11 after the back straight at the 2012 australian grand prix 1st lap after a restart during the race. 1st lap recorded with 1m25sec to complete lap at average 158mph. Field recording within large crowds with ambiance of pa announcers, crowd noises, helicopters, and screaming f-1 700hp v-8 engines upshifting & revving up to 18,000 rpm. Tascam dr-05 with built-in mikes.

A drain after a water flow: the water seems to build up a physical-mechanic surface tension kept mass in the tube, opens and closes this bubble-entity producing a specific rhythm in the plughole resp. The drainage pipe. It pulses with various plops and splashs, starts off with a firework kind of beat but then one hears a differentiated rhythm of 4-strokes sequences with slugs before these etc. Getting slower. Many minutes later it ends (beyond this track). The (hearable) cut is just the censorship of a small abortive piece -- left in to document the recording as recording.

Recorded from my apartment, second floor. This starts with a few bolts of lightning during the end of a typical early summer afternoon and ends up on a pretty huge thunderstorm including hail. I wish i could have recorded more but the storm was getting so important, i had to close my window.

The different creation steps. - creation of a sinusoidal sound of 3s with a frequency of 440hz (la)- creation of an other sinusoidal sound of 1s at the end of the first one, with a frequency of 493,9hz (si)- fade-out effect to gradually decrease the sound volume between 3,80 and 4,00s- modification of the envelope at the end of the sound- wahwah effect with the following parameters :lfo frequency - 1,5hzstart-up phase - 0 degdepth - 30%resonance - 4. 0wha frequency lag - 30%- modification of the sound's envelope to obtain a crescendo effect.

I created this instrumental while i was messing around on audacity one day and i actually used it to record a song called "erbie bowser" feel free to look it up on youtube. The instrumental includes whistles, claps and a voice loop all performed by myself. The only un-authentic part added was a risset drum. Feel free to use this for whatever i request that you give me credit if you chose to do so.

Here are some drums i made, on the synthesizer again. In order they are: parallel compressed kick, regular kick, snare, closed hi-hat and open hi-hat. The set before the break is mastered, while the set after the break isn't (i did throw a little limiter in there though just to boost 'em up a bit easily, but they're still not mastered). Enjoy. An early morning recording made at 7:30am on sunday april 2nd, 2017 in a large field bordered by heavy woods. . . . Beyond the woods is a large lake and, with headphones on, you might be able to hear the sound of boats on the lake. It was sunny, but, a typical cold early spring day. Temp was 43 degrees with a slight breeze making it feel like 37. But, that did not stop the birds from putting on a chorus.
