Stereo recording (decoded stereo from a core sound tetramic recording. B-format version also on freesound) sounds are kind of whooshy, very non-present. Very good for non-distinct urban-city bg's. A nasty cheap telephone ring designed using native instruments fm8 virtual synthesizer, a ring modulator, a moog-like filter (either are included in cockos reaper software), and a free lo-fizer vst plugin. This is a simple sound effect, which can be used for an simple animation/games/etc. This sound describe a falling object (for example a falling character). These sci-fi synth sweeps were created by manipulating white noise with filter sweeps and other effects and then using noise reduction to remove the underlying white noise. You would need to pick through them and cut them up, but they can be useful for sound designing light graphic elements that move around and animate on and off.

Varied hits on materials in my basement - cardboard boxes, a treadmill, wooden table, etc. . . Most of the sounds from this pack were extracted from a recording of me striking said objects with my palm. Because of proximity effect, i found some of these to be useful for the sound of an object hitting the ground.

This is a beat i made using the percussion presets form fab filter 1 cm synth for a track i was writing. Each hit was then loaded into abletons impulse drum sampler and tweaked for my pleasure. The snare was subject to some serious stretching,which gives it a rasping sound!fab filter 1 really is a simple but very useful synth.

Some sound fx made with modular synth. Could be useful at drum sounds or game sounds. The sounds are unedited and you have to cut em out you self. Sounds a little 8-bit. . . The reason are they are generated from square waves.

I recorded this sound at home, in the belgian country during the end of a storm (but there is no thunder sound). You can hear rain falling and a river flowing nearby. Very relaxing and useful if you need a rainy ambient sound. I recorded this simply with a tascam dr-40 (internal mics) and just edit it properly with audacity.

The foreboding sound of fear. Something is watching you. . . Or is it all in your head? i think i might have been subconsciously channeling some of the noises on fsol’s ‘lifeforms’. Might be useful for gabber, dark ambient and soundtracks. Created using a rainstick sample mutated in audacity with paulstretch and loads of effects.

Made a quick drum loops designed to have guitar, vocals, any mid range instrument or sound source sit nicely with it. Recorded with zoom h2 to 96 khz / 24-bit wav, encoded to flac with audacity. There's some background noise and touching sounds, possibly useful as foley. The initial pressure jet is distorted, so you'd need to clean it up a bit or use for special effects instead. Enjoy!.

Sorry for the length but i figured it would be most useful if you could cut and mix it up for different sounds since there are a many different types. Tunnel, terrestrial, horns, door bell, door actions etc. Recorded from the second car.
