Piano lid gently taps as it is opened and rests against the upper front board. Organic reverberations can also faintly be heard from the detuned strings. Possibly could be used for something interesting, it has a wooden bass drum sound. 100+ year old upright piano, microphone placed directly inside. (sample 1 of 4).

It's nearly impossible to find sound effects of someone handling an instrument and not playing it. . . At least it was until i uploaded this!. This was an acoustic guitar, but can be pitched up or down for similar smaller or bigger instruments. There's rubbing, knocking, and gliding fingers over the strings. No need to credit me. Eight "croaks" on a wooden frog guiro, recorded on samson q2u. All "croaks" here are made by dragging the playing stick up the frog's back in the same direction each time.

I dont know the name of this instrument but it is a flute that you control with a stick while blowing in it. Often heard in older cartoons :). Enjoy and it would be fun to receive links with your application of the sounds!.

Cymbals, drums, one voice. Folk music outside of wat phra that doi suthep. You hear one instrument -besides the drum and the common pair of cymbals- which name i ignore -any help with this will be deeply appreciated!this instrument apparently is very common in north thailand and laos. It consists of cymbals hanging in a wood structure that operates with strings! i mean, a totally alien thing for me. Sound record it with -sorry- a gopro camera hero4, then edited with audacity.
