This is the sound of a plasma cutting system. Recorded while cutting a big piece of metal scrap from 100 years ago. It was a machine used for textile works. And now, we are selling these scrap which makes me kind of sad. . . I wish i could put some pictures!.

This acid loop was created in cubase 10 years ago at 112 bpm with a free vsti called rubber duck. I've added lfo filters to move the sound across the eq ranges, together with reverb and an 80s ballad amplitube effect. Compressed to equalize the output.

I can't really remember whether i used any other sounds to make it, or if i generated it (and definitely can't remember who needs attributed if soundswere used). September 19, 2020 shenzhen, china tested the air raid system. Sorry for the background noise. I was standing on a city street on a rainy day and the cars made a lot of noise driving through the wet streets. I'm not sure if they do this test every year but i do remember they did it last year. I'm also not sure if this is province wide (guangdong) or maybe even country wide. The government let us know about a week earlier that they would do the test. If they let me know one day or even better one hour before the test, i may have been able to get to a quieter area for a better recording. There were some tests earlier with longer tones but my recording had even more background noise and this was the best one.

On the balcony, at our apartment in podgorica, montenegro; around 5pm, an hour after sunset; with the shotgun, sennheiser mkh 416 microphone, pointed out over the roofs. It's a very quite evening, just after new years, and you can hear a few holiday firecrackers, or petarda. Recorded with the tascam dr 100 recorder.
