Motor idling. Low, repetitive rumbling of a gator (utility vehicle, like a working-man's golf cart) idling outside, taken from on the tractor itself with a zoom h2 in 120* pattern.

This is my first noise i've ever uploaded, so any tips to improve this or any future sounds are welcome. The original sound came from a subway car screeching to a halt and it was edited with audacity and adobe premiere. Enjoy!.

This stereo recording was made on november 23, 2014 in brady, washington. The clip contains a union pacific freight train rolling at moderate speed through a rail crossing. As the train passes a crossing bell can be heard abruptly shutting off. This original recording was made using a zoom h-6 handy recorder with zoom stereo xy microphone. I stopped and recorded los angeles canyon traffic on my way to work. Nice selection of engines, cars, etc. Was on a hill, so engines pull harder going one way than the other. Recorded with: sound devices 702t, beyer dynamic mc930 mics.

I recorded one usable minute of passing train, moving slowly through town. I thought the local engine served just one customer, a major metal scrap yard, but the half-dozen box cars on this engine don't fit that model. Considering the overall decrepit condition of american railways, this one isn't bad.

Japanese traffic in the summer: passing cars and tracks and some motorcycles, cicadas, recorded with iphone, nearby crossroad of the six-lane road and a large park in tokyo. First 40 seconds is crossing the six-lane road. From 54 seconds cars in the six lanes start to come toward me and pass by. At the end of the audio, the signal turns to red again. Pedestrians cannot cross this road.

A small, hyundai i10's engine starting up as the car turns on. There is a slight rattle of keys in some cases, but i took a number of takes. Recorded from the interior of the car during a quiet day in suburban pretoria, south africa.

As the name implies, this was a recording of the street just across from union station, with a cool roaring of a bus coming from the left to the right and some other cool stereo unique sounds. As for credit, no need, enjoy.
