The thunder from a single bolt of lightning, recorded in johor bahru, malaysia mid-afternoon october 2022. It hadn't yet started raining when i recorded this. The recording device was the inbuilt stereo microphones of the zoom h5.

When i walked down the street, a small motor-bike came along an alley, and stopped to see if it was okay to merge into the street. The bike started after confirming safety. Audio-technica at9470 and sony md recorder are the most compact set that i can choose.

Pine woods about half of a kilometre away from the shore of lake huron. Late summer afternoon. Steady wind in trees. Cicadas at start, quiet middle, birds and flies at tail. At 5 minutes a single car passes in the distance.

A simple square wave, done with chirp generator in audacity. Starts at 200hz then slides until 30hz. Bass booster and phaser added. Then enveloppe manualy modified (enveloppe tool) + fade out processing for the end of the tail. Then normalized.

Recorded on the platform of the train station picks up the last call to catch a train and immediately start the train, you can hear the general mood of people waiting and crossing into the dock.

Me dropping a chain somewhat slowly on a linoleum floor. It starts loud and gets softer. It's also pretty bright, but most of that is around 14k if you want to eq it out. Recorded with two kam i2's into a zoom h4n.

Intro loop i made for a project, very basic en very simple but nice to start with. Clap and closed hat + screech and some fx with that. Programs used. . :. Fl studio 11 ( + build in clap & hats )sylenth 1 ( for the screech )glitch 2 ( for the fx ).

Tc-electronic novasystem hiss. This is awesome device, but at one moment it was started produce this hiss. First part is line input and second part is guitar (tc it's call "drive") input. In the each part i switch on for a few seconds "mod" pedal on the processor.

Heavy gain but not super high gain. Think loud marshall amp with the guitar player teasing you to the start of the song. And yeah it sounds almost like that one song you all know.

This is a short recording of a cruiser on the mississippi river near lake pepin, minnesota.

A few minutes of early fireworks that i couldn't escape, so i recorded them. Hope you can use it. This turkey lives about a hundred yards from me. The soft sound of passing cars, the little bursts of legal fireworks from time to time serve set it off.

My headphones started to screw themselves over while i was going for a walk with them and it started pouring in the middle of my walk. Which made my headphones pretty much unusable and it seemed to make this strange static noise even when turned off. It was actually kinda creepy but i did realise that this would make for a good sound for a videogame or movie that needs static of some kind. It's just too bad my headphones don't work anymore. Feel free to use this sound however you may please, you don't even have to credit me. It would be appreciated if you did though!.

The sound of my roommate snoring, snorting, and breathing heavily while asleep. Starts softly and gets louder. This sound promotes sleeplessly staring at the ceiling or burying one's head under a pillow. Recorded using a smart phone. I don't remember what it was, but definitely not high-quality hardware.
