Recorded with a single rode nt1-a microphone. I am not sure what these men were doing but there were some scraping/dragging sounds on the roof outside my window. There are many aeroplanes where i live but i have tried minimising this with some mid-range eqing.

This is my wind entry for the competition. It's derived from some recorded voice and putting a microphone in various containers while the wind was blowing. I was able to get some interesting sounds from this, then i used some mutation effects, convolution, and phase vocoding to combine the voice and the wind sounds into this short piece.

This sound effect was created with a long line of dominos being knocked over. The sound was recorded with the in-camera microphone on a sony a7s-ii. It is easy to loop; if you trim the beginning and end of the clip, the sound will flow seamlessly creating the illusion there are more dominos falling than in actuality.

This audio is a class´s homework where we have to produce and edit a sound with a common object. That interesting time of year between winter and spring. Actually, here in the northern hemisphere winter can still be strongly felt. . . The outside temp. When this recording was done was a very cold 30 degrees f. But, as you can hear, the main players in this small-town soundscape are the american robins (turdus migratorious) who are busy vocalizing and setting up their territory. Despite the cold, these summer residents don't seem to let that get in their way. Recording made at 6:30am on tuesday march 13th, 2018 in the backyard of a home in a small town in illinois. Equipment used: sound devices 702. Microphone: audio-technica bp4025 stereo microphone. No processing or post-tweaking at all. Enjoy this soundscape of the annual transition/battle between winter, sensing it's doom, and the inevitable spring on our planet earth.

Coucou !. Some day in octobre 2020 i had to perform as a musicianfor an iraqi theatre play of adel jarallah, they asked me gently & politely to also dosome voice over or guiding voice of the protagonistat a certain moment in the play. . . Which i gladly did, with, you'll never guessthe philips 50's oldschool vintage microphone, that's right !. That sound is something else. I connected the mike to my pedals & amplified itthrough a nice, vintage oldschool farfisa tube guitar ampi had been getting from charleroi, some week before. I saw this huge storm brewing, so i put my laptop next to an open window, thinking that i might record a nice atmospheric recording of rain and light thunder, and i caught this thing, no more than 500m away. I had the sensitivity turned all the way up, and the microphone i am using isn't the best, but someone might get a use of it :).

I hold a carbonated can to my microphone and open it in two motions, one to release the pressure, and the other to open the hole the rest of the way. This was a 12oz (355ml) standard soda can (specifically moxie) held in my hand a few inches from the mic, with some slight ambient humming removed in audacity afterward.

This is my replica of classical tom's screaming in the tom and jerry series. The sound is edited in a way that it sounds distorted and clipped like it was back in the days when someone screamed into the microphone. Yes, this is intentional. (consider it being vintage :d). A 70bpm beat/loop sequenced using renoise 3. 0. Samples were either created from scratch or modified after being recorded in my basement using the sampler built into renoise.
