Worth mentioning that the groan track is separate from the conversation, for those who want to use just one or the other. I hesitate to say i'm in training, but in a way i am. I don't really know what sorts of things i can get away with, so i have become acquainted with a brit who, i thought, knows everything there is to know. Instead, she may be a bit of an experimenter, and she practices a bit fast and loose. I surely can tell she loves it. . . During this bit of conversation i saw her reach and turn the clamping screws tighter. Extrusion. Interesting. One might wonder why he puts up with it, and i can tell you, he doesn't. A session like this one and he doesn't speak to me for a week. It goes on, i can tell you, at least until he finds where i keep the handcuffs. I do know where to find another pair.

Nature, and man-made machines, wake up on a saturday in a small town in southern illinois. Even though getting "away from it all" and experiencing nature in the deep woods, or a quiet field is very enjoyable, let's not forget that nature often lives and thrives side-by-side with us. I recorded this in my back yard on saturday april 27th, 2013 at 6:45 am and you'll hear the low, but everpresent low rumble of a distant train throughout. But, over and above you hear the incredible variety of calls and sounds made by a family of starlings who seem oblivious to the iron horse and the occasional car. We had rain the night before, so every now and then you hear a loud "plop" as a breeze cuts loose fat rain-drop and it hits the foam wind-screen on my h4n. Starting at around 3:47 and running to 4:08 a cardinal makes a strong appearance. I made this recording using my zoom h4n recorder, using it's internal built-in stereo microphones, with the recording gain on 81, out of 100. Enjoy!.

Hark! The Herald Angels SingHark!

This is a recording of me vacuuming my carpet (a short carpet, not sure of the exact name of it), in a small studio apartment in kansas city, ks. It's recorded with the worst mic possible (a generic labtec microphone you can buy at an office supply store for like 10 bucks). I literally have no idea the vacuum brand, as i searched all over it for a whole minute, to no avail. But who cares the brand, because it sounds cool! (it has "120v~60hz 7amps" if that means anything to you) i am mainly vacuuming up kitty litter from the carpet because my cat likes to make sand castles for hours on end and she likes to think "outside the box" as it may. Oh, and there is an obstacle between the mic and the space i'm vacuuming, it's literally a screen room divider. I recorded this just because i thought it would be cool, plus i'm just starting an associates in audio engineering, so i figured i could get experience doing just about anything. Oh, and the end is my favorite part, just because i like listening to the motor click off and wind down. Ummm. . . Yeah, i think that's about it. Enjoy!.

Melodic snippets from recordings of me playing the swar sangam. This wonderful instrument is a combination of the swarmandal and the tampura. 15 harp strings and 4 drone/bass strings. In these recordings i am only using the swarmandal (harp) part. It is tuned to c sharp, but i have dropped the fourth note (f sharp) out of the scale. There are four packs with lots of recordings in them, strums, plucks, short improvisations. "short melodic statements" are 1-2 bars. "riffs" are 2-4 bars. "melodies" are about 30 seconds and "runs and flutters" speaks for itself. There is recording of tuning up the swarmandal in the melodies pack. The snippets were taken from recordings done on three different days so you may notice a slight difference in volume and background noise. A couple of the recordings have some ambient noise (bird tweets, wind chimes,)some of the melodies are based around a similar theme but have enough variation to be interesting/useful. Credit is not required but always appreciated. Linking to the sound allows others to find this amazing website. :-)i love to hear what you have used my sounds for!.

This is an upload for a sample request (http://www. Freesound. Org/forum/sample-requests/32975/ ) for a person who wanted a haunting melody with some layers in the key of g# / ab. I am not a melody guy, so i don't know if i've got the notes right or if the piece may even fit the description of what the guy wants, but here it is!. Edit (mar 2018): no need to ask if you need to give me credit. Up to you. Just continue your amazing work with sounds & music. ;). Specs: 80bpm, 48000 hz, 24 bit, wav format, (i think it is in the key of g# / ab), original file name - haunting tone in g# abinstruments used (all found in reason 5 soundbank; all virtual): "a" piano, grand piano, pizzicato strings, violin, a random ghost layer synthesized in maelstrom graintable synthesizer, double basseffects used: a little equalization here and there; a little bit of delay on the pizzicato strings; volume automation.

(recorder: zoomh4npro 2018)(microphones: binaural roland cs-10em in-ear monitors). As these are recorded using binaural in-ear mics, i purposefully don't turn my head to keep the sound clean and coming from the same direction. Wow, this is a long one. . . But a good one. Let me set the scene for this audio because i am a nerd. . . Burbank, california. A large apartment/condominium complex with an open courtyard and a swimming pool and hot tub. Now, for some reason in la, nobody ever seems to actually use pools or hot tubs anymore so it's not hard to get clean audio. So, from beginning to end you will basically hear me turn the automatic shutoff dial on the wall, walk to the hot tub, get in the hot tub, and sit in various positions for extended periods of time. I was alone for the entire experience (wife was at work) and nobody joined. It's very clean audio and safe for all production. Recorded on 11/20/2018 in burbank, ca. Enjoy,. Christopher c. Courter.

[absolute_silence_00. 50_sec. Wav]. S/o to rlc209!. Here's what rlc209 dm:ed about this silence: "yeah, it was no joke, your wav file was perfect. I created my first ios app a couple weeks ago and i needed to play a quick silent file to buffer the sound player function within my app so that it would play the game sounds as normal without a slight freeze or delay. ". --------------------------------------------------------------. Absolute silence! intended for the freesounders that truly need some absolute, real, clean silence!. This is not an early april fools joke 2020. I've actually thought about releasing/publishing silences for a long time now (for years!). It shouldn't exist only free sounds but also free silences !. I saw that some freesounders needed clean silence to use as "blank space". That's why these silences were created!. I am not 100% sure what silence can be used for otherwise, but it can be useful for some things when you think about it!. If you enjoyed the silence, please rate, comment, spread! it really helps!. Note: make sure to check out the other matrixxx-silences! the silence quality is always better when you download the silence(s)! ⛄. Enjoy!/matrixxx.

The new and improved ultra-soft noise v2 is here!. This has been optimized for itunes and other audio players. The file includes full tags and album art - 320kbps mp3. Simply log in and slam that download button. Free to download and distribute!. Created completely from end-to-end with open-source software. The audio has been updated to higher quality:3x the noise of the previous version, but with a slightly softer tone to increase effectiveness. Over 100 separate streams of noise was generated to create this. (v1 used 21 streams in 44khz/24-bit in a v0 mp3)the entire project was created, mixed, and mastered in 96khz/32-bit float. This file is limited to 1 hour because the use of a larger bit-rate and the amount of noise used. Helps with many sound pollution problems and audio-stimulus problems such as: sleep, concentration, tinnitus, headaches, and so much more!. If this has helped you, please share your story in the comments below and feel free to distribute this all over the web to help others!. I am leaving the original file https://freesound. Org/s/132275/ online for those who prefer it's tone and texture over this - v2 is a smoother and more relaxing texture.

I recorded this today (1/12/23) from atlanta, where we had a bunch of heavy rain and tornado warnings this afternoon. The radio station i recorded this from is am 750. The first part of the recording isn't very interesting, but the part where she started talking about how you can't see any tornados coming was really interesting to me. I think this would make for some really good ambience in like an environmental horror track. I decided to include the whole recording anyways in case anyone wanted it. Here's the backstory to this thingey if anyone really wants it:we were on tornado watch as i was speeding trying to get home from work, when the sirens started to go off. I had to pull into a disheveled looking parking garage, as that was the closest place i could get to. The garage only had one level, so i had no way of getting to lower ground. I sat there in my car, terrified that i might be stuck there, in a shitty parking deck, in the middle of a giant ass storm, with very little cell signal, for hours on end. I decided to turn on my radio and record it from my phone. Fortunately, i was only in there for 30 minutes, and i managed to get home after the rain cleared up a bit.

**please rate if you like this sound. I appreciate it so much!!**. This is an effect i created with my voice to create a demon growl in audacity using my audio technica microphone. I wanted to create a sound that could be creepy but not too scary for kids or children's stories originally. Then i added the paulstretch effect in audacity to create a more ominous, creepy, scary, evil, sound for a more horror like ambience. I am uploading the original as well without paulstretch and maybe another version with echo and/or reverb. I download from this site often and want to give back by uploading my own sounds! please contact for any requests. Ringmodulated inversion of my speech from the file https://freesound. Org/people/kb7clx/sounds/648443/ invertedspeechcq. Wav. I took the raw recording and used goldwave's mechanize effect to translate my voice to a center frequency of 14khz. I then demodulated it first at 10. 6 and then 10. 2khz meaning that what comes out is essentially the opposite sideband, offset by 3. 4 and 3. 8khz respectively. 3khz just didn't sound as good. The first i filtered with a low pass of 2. 9khz, the second was filtered to below 3. 4khz to emulate a communications receiver passband. I am speaking upside down as described in this video. Https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=q_ykxzcbh-g beginning at 00:03:16. Being blind i can't see their diagram, but i've got my own by ear intuitive method, keeping in mind that oo and ee are farthest from each other, all other vowells get closer the closer they are to the middle of the human voice frequency range. I say: huhlay sue quee, sue quee, sue quee do ux. Cahlloong sue quee sue quee sue quee do ux. The ay in huhllay is like when a spanish speaker says béisbol (baseball). The a in cahlloong is like the a in cat if you're opening wide for the doctor. The oo is like the oo in book. Listen to the other file and you'll hear: hello cq cq cq dx. Calling cq cq cq dx.

This is a recording of myself sleeping, beginning ~ 1:00 am local time (~ 3hrs after going to bed) on january 10th, 2020 (which i later discovered was a full moon). I was in the midst of experimenting with recording myself all night long out of curiosity, using a laptop placed near the head of my bed. This particular recording was the only anomalous one (the rest consisting mostly of just breathing or snoring with occasional sleep-talking). This ~2 hour recording has several interesting properties, which make it hard for me to believe that these sounds were actually going on while i was sleeping. On the other hand, i don't have a memory of editing this file if i did. Either way, i find it unsettling. I found the file in oct 2021 while organizing my samples. As far as i can remember, this is the original raw recording. On further inspection, i discovered that it has some additional peculiar properties that make it even harder to believe i could have made it without remembering doing so. The audio spans almost exactly 118min (7080s). There’s a frequency sweep with a cycle-length of 6480ms that repeats throughout the entire recording. Dividing the 118min by 6. 48min (60 cycles) results in 18 parts containing exactly 60 cycles and a remainder of 12 cycles. If you think you know the source of the strange sounds or if you've ever heard anything similar, please let me know in the comments or email me at storyofthelie@protonmail. Com. I collected the most interesting bits into this pack:https://freesound. Org/people/storyofthelie/packs/33653/. My first upload! this sound i made using the zmors synth on my ipad air2 - i used audiobus which is a great routing software allowing many of a lot of awesome sounding synths that are now on ipad and can be played professionally via a usb keyboard controller (very handy for gigging) okay this is getting too wordy. . . I used audiobus overall with zmors in the first slot being routed through the wonderful aufx eq app in the center (effects) slot then ran the most useful of all ---> audioshare app in the 3rd or output slot to record it all. . . Keep in mind that the number of devices you can run in these three slots is virtually limitless - as much as your device can handle so you can get really nuts with several synths, a drum machine, etc all routing to the middle (fx) stop in the chain and picking up a fat 3 or 4 nice sounding effects devices then on to output to audioshare or you can now use just audioshare as host and run zmors in it directly (and probably more smoothly). I chose zmors because on a couple of other ipads (ipad mini, ipad 2 especially, and ipad air a little bit) i was noticing that it was a resource hog and was not playing correctly or there was a huge lag in the latency so with the new(er) ipad air 2 i wanted to hear the zmors synth and it really is an underappreciated majestic sounding beast if you ask me. I am going to experiment further with it as the unique architecture and just the way it sounds is totally different from any other synth i've yet to hear on ipad or in general. It kind of reminds me of a fatter, more modern. Sequential circuits 6 track. Which i've had a couple of and have a thick layered sound - kind of like a really nice turkey sandwich with a good portion of swiss cheese then you notice that there's still some roast beef left and put a good amount of that between bread as well. Hell, that's a sandwich that's gonna be filling! thanks for reading.

Japanese version of Auld Lang Syne. Auld Lang Syne is a song written by Scottish poet Robert Burns (1759–1796). This song is well known in many countries in the world, also Japan. In Japan, Auld Lang Syne is well known as it's translated version "蛍の光"(read as "Hotaru no hikari"(means "lights of fireflies") translated by 稲垣千頴(Chikai Inagaki) early Meiji era(1880s). I did my best, but quality is poor. So if you can sing this song and upload ogg file, please substitute the links to this song which embedded in some wikipedia pages to your better version. Software 使用ソフト 超録 http://pino.to/choroku/ for recording 録音用 Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ edit & export ogg file 編集とoggファイルの書き出し用 chord コード進行 C -> G -> Am -> F C -> G -> F -> G -> C C -> G -> C/G -> F C -> G -> F -> G -> C

88 piano keys, long natural reverb: up to 13 seconds per note. This is me giving back. I love freesound. You guys saved my bacon back in the day. Recently i searched for free piano notes for a game i'm making, but the only ones i could find ended too quickly. I need long reverb! luckily i have an old piano, so i made my own. So this is me giving back. This is an old piano!!!. We had the piano tuned a year ago, but it is well over 60 years old, so be warned! these notes have character! if you want perfect tone, either edit them individually, generate something artificially, or buy a professional set. But if you want a piano with personality, this is for you. Being an old piano, it only has 85 keys. So i created the highest 3 notes by speeding up previous notes, to make the modern standard 88 keys. How the notes were created. The notes are created on an old (well over 50 years) steinhoff upright piano. It only has 85 keys, so i faked the highest 3 keys by taking previous keys and changing their pitch. I opened the top, balanced my trusty everesta bm-800 condenser microphone across the top near the high note end, and held down the "loud" pedal. Each note was then hit and kept pressed down until i could no longer hear any reverb. Notes were saved as mp3 using my laptop, using free sound recorder on the highest quality settings. Yeah, i know it isn't flac, but i am strictly amateur with budget to match, and that was the best i could do. After that, all editing was of course uncomopressed until the final save. How the notes were edited. Editing was kept to a minimum, mainly to enhance the reverberation. All editing took place on audacity on linux mint. First i cropped any silence from the start. Next, used the envelope function to gradually increae volume to 200% over a couple of seconds. That is, the quietest part of the reverb is twice as loud as you might expect. Because for my game i sometimes need a single piano key to last ten seconds. Next i maximised the volume. If there was just a single stray waveform that stuck out then i reduced that by 2db or so then maximised again. Because like i said, i want to hear that reverb! i then found the part where background noise starts to be noticeable, and faded out over 1 second or so. This meant that the lowest notes had as much as 13 seconds of reverb, whereas the highest notes might only have 2 or so. Finally i checked the result, and edited three or four notes that i felt were just too ugly (badly tuned, or for some reason the software suddenly got hissy when the note became too quiet. Weird. ) i also slightly changed the pitch of a couple of notes that were slightly out of tune but otherwise ok. No doubt a better ear than mine could teak all of the notes. But as i said, it's an old piano and we're keeping it real. Finally, files were compressed to ogg at the highest quality setting, using soundkonverter. Why not flac?. I live in the countryside with very slow broadband, so i apologise for including more of the original files. But as it was, uploading this zip file took about an hour. Enjoy. Legal. Use this for anything you want, commercial or not, credit me or not. Consider it public domain. My main concern is that i had completely legal sound for my game, with nice long reverb and character. Uploading it here provides proof that i created it first, just in case anybody comes back and says "those are mine" (it happens).

Calm ambient track. Winter woods / pinewood february 12. 41 pm (noon) in the netherlands near village giersbergen. Bram’s admin request-text and my answer in audio. Hello freesounders,it happens very infrequently that i post requests. However, i have an extraordinary sad reason to do so today. I don't want to go into detail in this public forum, but someone incredibly important and incredibly young in my life and my wife's just passed away. I am thus looking for an extra long recording of a peaceful "forrest ambience" to play during the good-bye ceremony. Something with some birds and perhaps some wind through the leaves,. . . . Currently the ceremony is planned for april 6th so i would need this before then. I know i can look through freesound, but i would like something specifically recorded with this in mind, something we will be able to listen to later as well, remembering this important and sad time in our life. . . Nl/natuurgebieden/nationaal-park-loonse-en-drunense-duinen. In the loonse en drunense duinen you will find forest, heathland and especially a lot of sand. It is one of the largest shifting sand areas in western europe. The wind can blow undisturbed in many places, resulting in an ever-changing landscape. By purchasing it in 1921, it has been protected for 100 years and we can still enjoy this brabant sahara today. You can roam freely on the sand plain. So there is plenty of room to explore extensively. Marvel at the submerged trees, enjoy the chirping field crickets and quench your thirst at one of the many cafes or restaurants on the edge of this nature reserve. Walking, cycling or on horseback: it's all possible here. With the wind in your hair and the sand in your shoes. You may even come across the sheep herd. The sheep keep the heath short and eat away saplings. This is how they keep the area open. The loonse en drunense duinen still has 270 hectares of shifting sand. That sand creates rather extreme conditions: the soil is dry and nutrient-poor. The difference in temperature between day and night can be as much as 50 degrees celsius. This ensures a unique flora and fauna. The animals and plants have adapted or feel at home in drought, aridity and temperature fluctuations. Sand sedge and various lichens, for example. And the viviparous lizard, sandpit beetles and sand bees. All species that love sand. In the last ice age, the polar winds blew sand from the north to brabant, where it remained in thick packages. For a long time this sandy plain was covered with primeval forests. Until the fourteenth century the trees were felled by people. They used the wood as fuel. The bare plain was filled with heather, where the farmers grazed their cattle. This intensive grazing and the sod cutting of the soil depleted the soil. This gave the sand free play. For a long time, the sand was a major problem for the residents. Villages and fields threatened to disappear under it. Trees were planted to stop the advancing sand. You can still see the traces of this today: find the submerged trees that only peak above the sand hills with their crowns. Date/time: february 15th tuesday 2017, start 12. 44 pm.
