I've decided to experiment with random frequencies slowly filling canvas and blending into a single timbre. For this piece they emerge with quite an amount of time and there is no distinct frequency to form a tone. This experimentation produces quite a hauinting sound consisting of small parts.

A lone cricket appeared in my room, so i decided to record it before letting it out. Small chirping for about a minute. There is a light amount of background noise, since i decided not to do noise reduction myself and just leave it raw, since i didn't want to distort the cricket sound.

A squeaky wooden door being opened und shut in a medium sized room. Its recorded from about 2 meters distance so there's a moderate amount of room ambience on it. The sound has been slightly denoised. Equipment used: akg c214 running through a focusrite saffire pro 24.

A recording of someone opening a door and forcefully closing it, either out of carelessness or anger. I have left a large amount of blank space in between the opening and closing of the door so that if you want to have it, it is there. But it can always be taken out.

This sound file contains basic movement of a bottle of acetaminophen (29 pills contained inside). The movements i made are based on the everyday use of the pills. The reason these pills are specifically called acetaminophen is because all pills make a specific sound including the amount stored inside.

Here are the highlights from a mri machine (a ge signa, i believe). Probably useful for robot sounds. You'll also note the cooling system in there as well. These things dissipate a huge amount of energy and are quite interesting. The actual sounds come from vibration of the coils as the machine runs through it's patterns.

Recording in the back garden of a residential property. Property backs on to a large rugby field. There is a busy road 100m from the front of the house, and a school 300-400m down the road from the front of the house. Recorded on a sunny day with a very small amount of wind.

Then we can hear a voice saying "run!" in spanish, because the liquid inside the bottle is falling down. Basically a saw wave form with glide or portamento, this nice lfo lpf in fl studio called fruity love synth, slight hpf, slight distorition (blood overdrive), a little compression, a little pannomatic, the right amount of delay and reverb. Skates on ice: here is a very specific sound effect. The metallic slash through ice when it is being skated on. There are multiple variations of this in this track due to the amount of contact the blade of the skate has to the ice and also the force being put into the movement. It is a sharp and cold sound. Sound is a home-made circuit bent walkie talkie fashioned into a sort of opto-theremin. Main fx used to process it: boss xtortion and wattson superfuzz, with various other fx switched on and tweaked in the middle. Very much like a chainsaw in the beginning. . . That or a motorbike. The "reving engine" effect was created by blocking the amount of light going to the photocell (which was ripped out of a furby!).
