Dark, cold, frightening ambience. I really created it out of nothing! no synthesizers/extra programs were used! only "audacity" to generate sounds and effects over it. Update (12th of december, 2020): it may be sounds like a subway too.

I removed the aerator from the kitchen faucet and didn't get it turned off. My coffee cup filled and this sound resulted. I thought, sounds a little like water falling into a pool in a cave; so here is the file without reverb, also am uploading one with it. Iphone and external mike. Reverb in audacity.

I tried to import a raw, pcm audio sample into audacity and it came out like this. It was alot worse when it was imported, right now this is about as audibly palatable as i could get it to. This is still loud, so turn your speakers down a little bit before playing.

I recorded this sounds by a sound blaster live! soundcard in 2003, when i tested its highest sampling rate (96 khz). I used my philips sbc 3050 condenser electret microphone. Before uploading, in 2015, i applied a little noise reduction in audacity software.

High e played on an acoustic gibson jumbo. The guitar was recorded with a single microphone (a brauner phantera) connected to an api pre-amp. The signal was fed into a digidesign a/d converter and recorded in protools 9 in waveform audio file format. All the samples were subsequently edited with the gpl software audacity. Stretched sound, good for video games. I made the original sample in fruity loops using the reverse effect on a basic software sample sound. After that i used paul stretcher effect in audacity to stretch everything up and give it a longer feel. Also added little bit of dellay and reverb after stretching it.

Blending a smoothie. Blender goes on and off a couple of times to help churn frozen strawberries. During the blending, there is the sound of a spoon tapping on the pitcher. Recorded in mono mp3 mode on a zoom h2. The recorder then created a 2-track file (and i assume both tracks are identical). Compressed and normalized to -3. 1 db in audacity. Exported in flac mode.
