Do you need the sound of petting, but have nothing to pet? fear not. This recording is of a (presumably) human hand, petting and scratching a reindeer fur. The fur is long and rather coarse, which makes for great petting. *no credit needed, but would love it if you shared your creation should you use this sound!.

This is a project i worked on for my electronic music composition class. It was made using audacity. It is comprised of 27 different sound tracks. 2 of these tracks use sounds created/recorded by users "shoba" and "branrainey" of freesound. Org (shoba's 'sending machine. Wav' and branrainey's 'cansound. Wav'. The other sounds are of my own creation or recording.

A simple recreation of the "flint phone" sound effect using sine waves. This effect originally appeared in the film, "in like flint" as the presidential "red phone" sound effect. It later appeared in the film, "austin powers: the spy who shagged me," as austin powers' car phone ringtone.

Police ordering crowd to disperse using bullhorn. Heavy reverb. Reading the riot act based on a transcript of actual riot act reading at in canada. I know, hard to believe but it happens sometimes. This would be played on a loop prior to and during police dispersal of a crowd this is a re-creation.

I whipped up this wacky reinterpretation of the twilight zone intro while doing a sound design concept. This was made using "caustic" an android music creation app by single cell software on my htc one. Http://www. Singlecellsoftware. Com/caustic. I used a default piano synth, played around by ear and applied aparametric equalizer effect. I'm not much of a musician but it turned out alright! :).

A creation (as always with audiosauna, in particular the emulation of the yamaha dx21 that is their fm synth) similar to a snare, except fm. As you can expect, being a synthesized snare rather than a real one, this does have an approximation of pitches. This is the fourth of the snare drums i elected to export. As one might guess from the name, it is also the 4th in order of pitch (naturally, lowest to highest. ).

Greetings people of freesound!. Remember our dear friend herbert boland's "cinematicboomnorm" sound?. A friend and i have carefully re-created a sound very similar to his boom sound from scratch using thor synths and reverb in reason 7 and cubase with some tweaking in soundforge. This one's totally public domain, creative commons, non-attribution pro-commercial use! and it sounds just like herbert's. Remember,. This is not herbert boland's sound. It's just a very similar re-creation. Enjoy the freedom to use this commercially and without attribution!. .

This is the final piece for our final project of sound creation laboratory. We have made changes in several ways: erasing redundant information (such as spoken words), filtered a section of the piece in order to make a sense of outside the club or inside the club. We also introduced an echo effect to make the effect of a drunk state. Furthermore, a bed sound has been placed at the final of the piece. This is a good improvement related with the final impression the piece gives to the audience. It's a recreation of tired atmosphere and also of the desire of sleeping.

This is a sound of vintage soviet transistor organ junost 75. I have sampled one tone per octave in its 5-octave range, which is sufficient to re-create the original sound (tested on ensoniq asr-10, korg tr6 and casio ctk-900). But if you use only the middle sample, you can still simply create a great combo organ sound. This sample has ben recorded while all 4 registers were switched on. For succesful re-creation i recommend to slightly decrease filter cut-off, to add some resonance and fast vibrato. Enjoy!.

Recording of some new year's celebrations in vienna. Captured using a clippy stereo em172 microphone and a zoom h5 handheld recorder. I positioned the microphone capsules outside the window on the left and right and then gently (almost) closed it. I setup the recorder and rolled the whole evening. This bit was around the apex of the celebrations in that part of town. Sadly some clipping occured, but i chose to upload the unaltered file. So no post-processing has been applied. Cut in ocenaudio. This is the sound of a spaceship's underbelly cargo hatch closing mid-flight after receiving a cargo transfer. The sequence begins with a warning alarm indicating the hatch closing, followed by the sound of the giant servos rotating the dual bay doors up and inward until the bay is sealed shut and locked. An all clear signal is given, reverberating into the dark, silent chamber. Made in logic pro, completely synthesized with es2 and mac's built in speech synthesis for vocal alarm. No unoriginal samples or sounds were used in the creation of this sound. Use freely as desired, but i would appreciate credit.

Alert (!) or surprise sound effect directly inspired by the popular sound from metal gear solid. Performed live not quantized or synchronized to any particular tempo. The notes used in this performance should be the same notes used in the original game's sound (unconfirmed) detuned a few cents upward. Tools used:- fl studio by image line- dexed by digital suburban- edison by image line. If you'd like me to create any sounds for your next project, don't hesitate to ask. I'd be happy to help. As this sound isn't exactly a completely original creation or composition. I've set the license to cc0.

Needed the exceptionally specific sound of putting an old book into an old hiking backpack. This is that sound. The recording starts with me the backpack off, before placing the book into the backpack and throwing the backpack back over my shoulder. Backpack description:an old-ish (likely 60's) hikers backpack with a metal "seat" that folds out. Made out of wool, leather, metal and the inside is plastic (a thick plastic bag that keeps everything dry). All straps are made of leather and metal that makes a very distinct jangly sound. Book description:this is an 1841 (handled with great care) edition of "hegel's logik" hardcover with a leather spine. *no credit needed, but would love it if you shared your creation, if you use this sound!.

This is from a recording session trying to create laser weapon sounds. I just used the same technique as ben burtt used in wall-e (with the slinky and the contact mic). This is unprocessed, no eqs, compression, reverb or anything was added. I used a long piece of curled up aluminum wire which i hung from a tall structure at my house and the main object i used to oscillate the wire was a drum stick. For the recording i used the blue icicle and recorded into reaper. The contact mic is my own creation from a diy i found online (roughly €5 to make). I hope you find this useful! please feel free to use it, whenever and however you want to. If you create something awesome and you're proud of it i'd love to see it!.

My fmc002 submission!. For this, i generated several sounds from audiopaint (free software) and spectrobits (free vsti), two image->sound synthesis softwares. These sounded interesting but i wasn't sure how to use them. Then i made a drum beat, synth bassline, and some other stuff, rendered the song, used paulstretch to stretch the song out 4x, put it back in the project, added even more stuff to other tracks (mostly timestretched versions of my own samples), rendered the result, brought that render back into the daw, and then reversed it. A lot of effects and automation were also used during all 3 stages of the track's creation. Further, each time i rendered, i used the same mastering chain, so eq and other stuff is being applied multiple times. This brings out some surprising timbres and overtones. Really, the final recording sounds nothing like the sounds i began with.

Footsteps. . . Note:. These are no field recordings but handmade walking sounds in different speeds and manners intended for game creation. Most of them you can loop. They are recorded as dry as possible so you should add the ambience you like. How to make these:. 1. First empty two bottles of the famous spanish brandy lepanto. 2. Keep the korks - they have a very special sound different from the korks of wine bottles. 3. Then, if you're still able to hit (maybe you shouldn't drink the brandy alone and at once), fill things in a flat bowl or a plate - f. E. Pepper grains or salt. 4. Step the korks in the bowl and record it. You may also - as i did - step the korks on other things like a ventilator. 5. Compress the sounds hard but limit them to -4 db (as they sound not naturally if they are to loud).

The "concrete cello" pack is a collection of scraping, scratchy and droning improvisations on the cello focussing on the creation of sounds to be used as base materials for future compositions. They were originally recorded in 2019 to be used in as sound design elements for the documentary "hotel regina" by director matthias berger for which i composed the music. Part of the impetus of this sampling session was to create cello sounds that would be remiscent of construction machines. (if you look on the geotag you can see the machines, well, sort of). You can listen to the score here :https://doubleblindrec. Bandcamp. Com/album/regina-hotel. These are the close-micced mono raw studio recordings. Neumann u87 into a wa273 and a rme ufx. Recorded by barbara samla at studio aktis in france. Sounds are cco, use them as you will!(but feel free to let me know in what : it's always nice to find out!).

[game_over_01_remastered. Wav]. Game over. I searched and dug for some time - until i found this useful sound:. * "horrorsting. Mp3" by shelbyshark (licensed under the creative commons 0 license!) [2020-06-30]. - links: https://freesound. Org/people/shelbyshark/sounds/512517/https://creativecommons. Org/publicdomain/zero/1. 0/. I downloaded this, made lots of improvements - and finally remastered this. Then i used one of my matrixxx-game over sounds and placed it on top of this one!. I could've made lots of more changes, and made it even more dramatic, however, i wanted to leave the rest up to the listener's fantasy. It was much about planning, knowing what sounds to use, and how to use the different sounds, timing, and creating shock and tension!. If you enjoyed the sound, please rate, comment, spread! it really helps!. Note: make sure to check out the other matrixxx-sounds! the sound quality is always better when you download the sound(s)! ⛄ s/o to superfreq for providing useful critique/feedback that led to the creation of this sound in the first place! ⭐. [[this sound pack contains 8 sounds total, and this is # 4 of 8. ]]. Note: this sound (as all my sounds on freesound. Org are) is **public domain**. Use it, sell it, do anything and everything with it. No need to credit me. I only hope it's useful for someone! however, i'd love to hear about any projects you use my sounds with!!. Abstract, creepy sounds i recorded after watching this video on hans zimmer's creation of the score to the original dark knight soundtrack:. Https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=r-l1rctgtoe. (fascinating video, give it a watch! :d). - i found an old rusty razorblade (if it ain't rusty it ain't emo, amiright? amiright? oh god that's in poor taste)- and just started scraping it over the copper-wound strings of my seagull s6 acoustic guitar in which i've installed an electronic pickup. - recorded into reaper on my mid-2014 macbook pro, via direct in through a zoom h4n in audio-interface mode. Only processing: gentle eq highpass at 95 hz. And some slight gain reduction. These sounds remind me somehow of creepy film scores where the strings do that erratic pizzicato thing that sends tingles up your spine. Tell me what you come up with, i'd love to know!!.

I'm attempting to create a controllable thunderstorm for a film, and this is my first legitimate attempt. This recording consists of 4 samples of rain, and another 3 samples of rain+thunder that i recorded one afternoon. Equipment used was the inbuilt mics on a roland r-26, and a sennheiser me66 into a sound devices 702. The clips were recorded at 96khz/24-bit, and they were processed at 48khz/24-bit. For processing, i put the samples into kyma, and crossfaded for texture. The howling wind sound is an analog-style low pass filter's frequency, level, and resonance being controlled by a wacom intuos4 pen/tablet. The rain slowly swells, which was done by changing parameters of a granular reverb. The thunder was also controlled by the wacom tablet, with x, y, and z (pressure) dimensions mapped to making the thunder swell in level, density, and texture. This could have been output in surround, but i don't have that many monitors ;). This style of "rain-synthesis" can also go on indefinitely. Please let me know what you think of the quality of this track; eg, if it sounds real, if the wind sounds ridiculous, too much thunder, etc. Use this sound (wherever) if you want to, or let me know if you'd like an mp3 of this, or for it to last longer. I'd like some credit if you do use it, but it's no big deal. A blog is up explaining the method of creation here:http://www. Kylehughesaudio. Com/2/post/2013/02/tempest. Html.
