This is a slow version of the s. G. I. Buddhist mantra nam myo ho renge kyo. It was recorded by me with my voice and a bit of echo and reverb using the audacity program. The recording device used was my computer windows xp with a very low-end microphone. I downloaded a free audacity recording program.

Sound of several flies species (diptera) crickets(ortoptera) and a lot of undefined crackles blops and clicks result of the frenetic activity of various types of grubs and worms into the rotting organic matter. Perfect for corpse soundtracks.

This sound effect was created with a long line of dominos being knocked over. The sound was recorded with the in-camera microphone on a sony a7s-ii. It is easy to loop; if you trim the beginning and end of the clip, the sound will flow seamlessly creating the illusion there are more dominos falling than in actuality.

I was busy recording something else, and sneezed twice. The recording came out particularly crisp, so i cleaned it up the rest of the way, and decided to post it here. This meal of pasta with tomato sauce sounded fleshy, so i decided to record it. Sometimes you can hear the wooden spoon hit the pan. In the end, i even drop some of the past imitating a squish and a splash. Recorded using a phone and a lapel microphone.

I have generated a sound ( sinusoidal, 300hz) and i have altered it with the level tool. Then, i have added a pluck ( pitch 114) and reversed it. I have created a “white noise” which i have stuck after the pluck. Finally, i have generated a sound ( sinusoidal, 1000hz). I have put it at the end and altered it with the level tool. I used audacity.

This is a bass kick i made with a nice crunchy toned delay. It started life as a mono bass kick off my 808 drum machine, i converted it to stereo then inverted the right channel, i distorted it and processed it with 100% envelope to really boost the front end punch. It's c2 pitch for convenience.

Just speeded up the whining to make it more urgent. Squealing drone that makes an i once used as intro if you just add some fade at the end. A small, park-like area in the car park of a small college in the england. Some traffic noise, quiet chatter of nearby female students, a few car doors (which could easily be faded out). Very loopable (first 10 seconds of audio was cut off of the beginning and crossfaded in at the end).

It's a recording of a firework candle going off. The candle bursts near the end of the recording, before burning out. Recorded with zoom h2's rear mics at 96khz/24bit on a mic stand. This is the closest i could get to the ambient sound of a borg cube. I tried hard to replicate it and this is the end result. Originally recorded on an old zoom h2.

I recorded this sound at home, in the belgian country during the end of a storm (but there is no thunder sound). You can hear rain falling and a river flowing nearby. Very relaxing and useful if you need a rainy ambient sound. I recorded this simply with a tascam dr-40 (internal mics) and just edit it properly with audacity.

Early morning on the dock of a minnesota lake. Sound of water underneath the dock and purple martins chirping. There is a sudden motorboat engine at after a few minutes, but it quickly dies away. There is also the sound of a giant snapping turtle banging against the dock. At the end of the recording there are some wind and microphone sounds.

Wind during a snow storm at dove lake carpark, cradle mountain, tasmania, wind speed 30-50 kph. Recorded 29 may 2019, 4:43 pm, just on dark, on a marantz pmd661, using a rode nt4 inside a rode blimp, pointing away from the wind from the back of a station wagon. Near the end, a car pulls up about 50m away.

Vinyl-like sounds coming from my old guitar(cheap stratocaster imitation) connected directly into the mic input of my pc with an adapter, the volume and tone knobs, and the five way switch make a similar noise but way more louder; which can be heard around the end, the audio is compressed with the compressor from ableton live 9.

A heartbeat sound i created. Fairly consistent through most of it, and then speeds up into heart-attack mode about 30 seconds from the end. To make it, i took a kick-drum sample and a snare-drum sample, and made a pattern of kick-snare, kick-snare, kick-snare, over and over. I then eq'd them to be less distinct and drum-like, added tape saturation to increase the low-end thumping, a small chorus effect and some compression to get rid of the drums' attack. . . Basically just over-processed the hell out of it. Then i used a plugin called wok m-st to get a fake hard-panned stereo effect. My goal was to make it sound like your heartbeat sounds in your ears when you've been running too fast for too long. I think it sounds cool.

Background distant traffic noise and helicopter appears about halfway through the recording then some people's voices near the end. I've amplified this recording by around 8db, no other processing applied.

Field recording of diamond lake a few hours before a storm hit that forced all boats to dock. This is in late may of 2022. On a hike at the north end of the lake, i stood at the edge of the water and held my recorder close to the growing waves.

A young adult female whimpering with a sudden intake of breath at the end. Can be used for surprise, fear, shock, hiding, etc. Recorded using my turtlebeach earforce-x12 headset and then edited in audacity to sound more like a man. This was originally recorded for use in my own project but here, have fun. =).

Windy suburban night. Recorded from a upstairs bedroom window with a h4n. Wind chime. Cars passing by in the distance. Metallic bang from garden ornament. A tiny bit of wind artifact which the rycote wind jammer didn't catch. Crickets singing happily. Very big gush of wind can be heard near the end of the sound file.

Three ceramic objects - a bowl, a bottle and a jug - clanking against each other, being handled and put down; at the end the bowl is scraped slightly and hit with a metalic object.
