Moderately flowing stream - jack creek in central oregon's cascade mountains flows out of the ground at the base of three fingered jack mountain. The water comes from a glacier on the mountain a couple of miles from where multiple springs create the large creek bubbling up from the dry ground. This recording was done several hundred feet downstream where the creek was already about 50 wide and only about a foot deep. I forgot what i used for this specifically. Listening to it it kind of sounds like a ball hitting the ground, although that wasn't what i used to create it.

A small group of people collected hay on a meadow by means of sweeping the hay into mounds and placing it on hay racks by means of pitchforks. A couple of guys set up hay racks by knocking a sharp, short pole obliquely into the ground to be used as support. Next, they used a crowbar to make holes in the ground for the large poles which were assembled in a row. Finally, a short oblique pole was knocked into the ground on the other side of the high poles and steel wire was attached t one of the oblique poles,then attached to the long poles by one loop on each pole until it was attached to the oblique pole at the other end. Birds were singing and sheep with bells were grazing nearby.

It is a sound that has several alterations, so it is not constant, it is usually soft but sometimes it is heard a little louder. It is activated by the friction of the ground with the crocs as a person walks with the crocs on.
