Foley footsteps on gravel/small pebbles for a beach. Walking, running, and sitting gently and hard - originally being used for an audio drama podcast. This is a completely raw recording, so have kept in 'silence' for you to clean how you prefer, depending if you're doing anything to the pitch. Recorded on a se electronics x1 large condenser mic. Feel free to use in anything. I've benefitted hugely from people's files here, so if this is helpful for anyone, that's brilliant.

A hostage, a lightbulb, a camera. A hard conversation and a lot of uncomforable silences. This sound is part of the weird roomtones and silences soundpack - a compilation of synthetic ambiences and silences meant to enhance a neutral atmosphere in the desired direction. The filenames usually describe an imaginary situation that i imagine would need the particular roomtone, often influenced by movies i've watched. >>>> you can use the soundpack as you wish, but i'd be happy to hear your feedback. In particular - how did you use the sound (for example, what kind of scene) and what can be improved. <<<<thank you in advance!.

Did this thrilling groovy piece of music in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. It starts off with a kind of wicked hard disco-beat. A four on the floor stomping groove. Then a bass line comes in and develops, getting more groovy, more tones. A midpart/breakdown before it goes up into a hard groovy four on the floor disco-beat again. The difference between the mild version and the spicy version is that there is more stuff coming in on the spicy version. Starts off the same but in the midpart there is more going on with guitars, piano, synths and stuff. And afterwards there's a bit of "jammy" section leading to the end. The mild version is more basic, no messing around kind of. Think it would work great to a game, youtube-channel, episode, movie or whatever you feel like. Could be perfect in a thrilling suspence part where someon's beeing chased or are in a hurry for instance. . . Feel free to use it as you like as long as you subscribe to and watch my channel :). This is for a video game i was making, but i figured it would be a good idea to share this with everyone. This is supposed to be the sound of a wooden container being violently smashed open, such as a barrel or a box, or even possibly a wooden wall. I borrowed a few sounds from the site, tweaked a little of course, and also added some powerful white noise effects to indicate a hard smash. With some layering with twigs cracking and pieces of wood falling on the floor, i think it sounds pretty authentic. . . Or as authentic as it can get!.

Http://www. Myspace. Com/capashen2 note : please show me your composition when you used this sample, i would to listen it !:d. Very usefull sample for transition within two parts. To bring the chorus for example. It sounds a bit electric with an sound effect made with synth. I use it all the time hehe. Made with : white noise filtered, drum layering, big plate reverb. . . Tip : it was not very processed in order to make your own process like sidechain on reverb tail, envelope. . . . Etc.

A recording of the riots in leipzig, germany at the 12th of december, 2015. After a more or less peaceful protest against right-wing parties, neo-nazis and other right-wing extremist, the mood shifted. The policemen and the black bloc acted aggresive against each other. Armored water canon trucks, teargas grenates, stones. . . I also had to run often, stood in the middle with my microphone. I just cuttet out some hard knocks on the mic. . . Nothing more. .

The mechanical noise and signature "chord" associated with the "mac mini (2010 model)" upon startup/boot. Brief mechanical motor and clicking noises followed by the famed sustained f sharp major chord (detuned 30 cents flat) being projected over low quality, built-in speakers. Mechanical noise has defined pitch and is predominantly in the mid-high frequencies. Recorded on zoom h2n, in small, empty room. Audio clip normalized in post-processing.

Created using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ). Here i have used zynaddsubfx for the hoover type sound and 3 instances of glitch2 vst on the drum loop that i created. There is some compression, stereo widening and side-chaining used also. ( i used a higher resolution samplerate to export this file, which created a further glitch effect on the glitch2 vst,i believe it is maybe hardcoded to 41000hz or perhaps lmms can't handle higher sample rates on vst plugins ).

Recording of traditional sneaker with hard rubber sole stepping down on glasses on hardwood floor. Moderate room tone present. First takes are extremely near to glasses on floor, then followed by takes done about a meter away and at waist height. Glasses used were a pair of old metal framed earhook with polymer type prescription lens and an all plastic frame "blue light reducing" pair with plastic lens. Recorded on a tascam dr-05 linear pcm recorder around 11pm on 5/20/17.

A 39 sec. Loop of maxheadroom's wonderful "field-recording of a real live horse galloping on hard dry ground with some heavy snorting. Not a gallop past, but a constant gallop around the mic. " thanks max! i needed it to be longer for our podcast, so i figured i'd share this. I will warn you, it's pretty obviously looped due to the horse's breathing being repetitive. I was working with a 4-5 second clip. If you like it, please give me a rating!. Check out our comedy podcast "in poor taste" at http://bit. Ly/inpoortasteeps.

Csonor kickhead: 1mic: rpressure: 1 of 6. The sonor kick set includes many acoustic field recording samples of a sonor kick drum. The recordings are separated by categories denoted by a number and letter according to drum head & microphone position, including different volumes/velocities. Here is a key to help you understand:. Csonor kick[#] [pan][pressure]. [#]: which drum head used. [pan]: which side the microphone were partial to. [pressure]: the velocity/hardness the drum was hit at (ascending in intensity). By providing the different heads, mic positions, and intensities, the sonor kick set has everything you will ever need to get authentic kick drum samples. Enjoy!. .

Mid/side recording of my stomach after having a fizzy drink. I laid down and placed the zoom h2n directly on my stomach. All kinds of stomach ejactulations can be heard in addition to my heartbeat. Raw 24/96 ms recording; be sure to decode before use. Left channel is mid, right is side. To do this manually you should separate the channels to two mono tracks, duplicate the side track and invert the duplicate. Pan the side tracks hard left and right, and mix with the mono mid channel. Or use a plugin to do it for you :d.

Unedited recording made with zoom h5. Victorian style "twist" doorbell popular before electric doorbells. You twist the handle on the outside that rotates a double sided hammer onto the bell on the other side of the door. I could not find a recording when i looked. I initially made two recordings, i will likely make more later. This is a modern "cheap" recreation doorbell, as they are hard to find these days. I know some people with the genuine article on their home doors however i never get around to recording them. Recording done in theatre.

Incorrect rendered and untreated noisy stereo loop, unintentionally done with an amiga emulator (uae for windows). Extremely dirty and distorted sound. The unrecognizable source was the title song of "speedball 2: brutal deluxe" (developed by "the bitmap brothers", music by "nation 12"). The error was was most likely either caused by wrong sound emulation settings or buffer underruns. Left channel is mostly white noise, while the right one is more like a hard industrial beat. This sound is licensed under "creative commons 0" to get you out of trouble, but i still would appreciate if you mention my name in the credits and give me a feedback, where the sound has been used! thank you very much in advance! ;-).

I was demoing the new digital performer 10. 1 with a royer r-10 pair in blumlein array but wanted to check out one of the ribbons because it possibly sounded blown so i went ahead not bothering to create a new mono file. The mic was tracked through a yamaha mixer into digital performer via a motu 624. I have various cymbals including a paiste hi-hat and a zildjian ride which i bowed or scraped. There is an occasional tiny bit of noise from the hard drive, sorry. It has the hiccups. Some of these have an effect or two like a flange on one or more and a bit of delay but mostly you just hear the marvelous and very interesting cymbals!.

I needed a very specific brand of lollipop with a chocolatey center for a short film i'm working on. None of my library crunch fx sounded right, so i chomped into one myself. Just call me mr. Owl. Recorded on an iphone, about an inch from my face. Just a single crunch edited to have a little extra tail. The effect came out as a satisfying crunch with decent low-mid range. Could be pitched down a bit to act as bones, or maybe a small to medium sized tree branch. I may record more of these after i visit the dentist next.

Bi-drum finale. This sound provides an impact point, an action conclusion suggestion. I combined two drum sound samples, one of the impact with a deep echo, and one a hollow wood tube strike against a hard object to a certain rhythm. The sound is somewhat like the primal drum sounds used in survivor. I used magix music maker, magix software gmbh (www. Magix. Com) with two object plug-ins; solar wood 6_ogg_001. Hdp, and right huge impact_ogg_001. Hdp. Enjoy. C gillespie sound library.

Some more of that young sounding couple next door. Got some loud moans on this one. At 0:36 is the sound of a door close. At 0:44 you can hear the woman say "well let's make out, what do you think of this?"they were probably already started you know before it got to 2:00. Those silent parts have a bits of very soft pleasure noises that are hard to hear, but it's there. Passed 7:15 is where you can start to hear some clear sex noises of them, that's where all the good parts begin. Passed 10:00 is where the couple finishes their pleasure. This was shorten and edit with audacity.

Drum: pearl sensitone steel 14" x 5. 5". Head: genera dry. Mic configuration: mono room, two overheads [spaced pair], batter head, reso head. I did basic eq cuts and boosts with some compression. No limiting used. Each articulation was carefully played and gain adjusted to seem as natural as possible. My goal was to also create a multi sampled snare drum that could be drag and dropped into a sampler with ease. Articulations: x-soft, soft, medium, hard, and crack. ***i will post a link to the complete multisample pack for all to download soon.

Just joined. Here's my first submission :). Recorded a few samples of "voice horror", a friend and i were going to make a short film but it never panned out. Basically the sound is a "disembodied voice" recorded on some tech that the entity damaged the quality or something. Used several filters and a vocoder. The idea was to vocalize the first parts in a way that it would be hard to understand, having the viewer listen more closely, and build the fear with the audible phrase ". . . And now there's somebody living on the other side of the wall and i think he can see usssss".

After searching the vastness of the interweb for some 6 inch zilbel samples with no luck, i finally decided to record my own bell. Theres 3 versions of 4 single samples each, 4 chokes, 4 medium and 4 hard hits. I know a lot of you out there have been searching for some samples of one of these bells for a long time so here ya go guys, totally free, full to use for whatever you want, no credit needed to be given to me. These sound amazing in a mix and really add a lot of life to your drum tracks, they dont sound over compressed (theyre dry recordings) and they dont over power everything else, nice crisp and clear. Sample of a metallic percussion hit. The sound is quite dark and muffled. I call it underwater drum, because it sounds to me like it's underwater. This sample is tuned to a1 but there is a very dominant overtone at b1, which is the musical interval of a minor second. The source of the sample was the platter of a dismantled hard disk drive, hit with a wooden mallet. It was then pitched down a lot. The sample is almost raw, i just added some slight eq. The sample was intended to be used with a sampler, you may want to add some reverb for this and filter the previously mentioned overtone, when you use it in combination with other tuned instruments. Also, the pitch is probably not perfectly tuned. Microphone: akq perception 120post-processing: pitch manipulation & eq.

I get annoyed easily when i hear someone telling me what to do. It gets me in trouble. This was a while ago. I hadn't ever been caught at that point, and he was the one recording. He actually got me started on that. Of course, i had taken off the offending articles of clothing and kicked off my sneakers, and was locked outside my own front door that way. Of course i couldn't go anywhere, and the only unlocked window had an air conditioner in it. Yes i did. Right over the top of it, might have looked pretty clumsy, at least…i know it was risky but not as bad as standing out there. Luckily it was a back window. Unluckily, it was raining. Hard. Should have let him build that fence.

Footsteps. . . Note:. These are no field recordings but handmade walking sounds in different speeds and manners intended for game creation. Most of them you can loop. They are recorded as dry as possible so you should add the ambience you like. How to make these:. 1. First empty two bottles of the famous spanish brandy lepanto. 2. Keep the korks - they have a very special sound different from the korks of wine bottles. 3. Then, if you're still able to hit (maybe you shouldn't drink the brandy alone and at once), fill things in a flat bowl or a plate - f. E. Pepper grains or salt. 4. Step the korks in the bowl and record it. You may also - as i did - step the korks on other things like a ventilator. 5. Compress the sounds hard but limit them to -4 db (as they sound not naturally if they are to loud).

Better set on monoaural on your daw if possible due to the off-center recording. Having been a bit ill on some rich iron content food i couldn't stomach (offal it was, it was the sheep fried liver who was the culprit - the very rich iron content upset my stomach pretty bad - was looking for something "new". ). Keep in mind that i am unable to do this as a request for obvious reasons including health, livelihood and risk of damage to equipment. I tried very hard to avoid shaking the zoom as not to make the wobbling sounds. If i am ill again, i'll use my ma-2 (microphone stick) and gravity microphone stand and get a real good recording of real vomiting but keep in mind this was recorded in my showerroom so some er may occur.

Still, i'm amazed how the recording turned out, it's $24 mic in not very silent area, yet it captured sound rather nicely. Windscreen (cost $0) turned out to be not that good :).

When looking for the loudest kick, i decided to join different ones i liked together. Watch out. It's loud. Do not put your speakers to full. Thanks to:. Sound1 by somereg ( https://freesound. A heartbeat sound i created. Fairly consistent through most of it, and then speeds up into heart-attack mode about 30 seconds from the end. To make it, i took a kick-drum sample and a snare-drum sample, and made a pattern of kick-snare, kick-snare, kick-snare, over and over. I then eq'd them to be less distinct and drum-like, added tape saturation to increase the low-end thumping, a small chorus effect and some compression to get rid of the drums' attack. . . Basically just over-processed the hell out of it. Then i used a plugin called wok m-st to get a fake hard-panned stereo effect. My goal was to make it sound like your heartbeat sounds in your ears when you've been running too fast for too long. I think it sounds cool.

Made with free tuareg 1. 5 and cool edit pro 2. 1. This breakbeat sequence includes the hot pants break* and the amen break** (besides the four crashes added after exporting from tuareg, mixed with cool edit pro 2. 1). I applied some cuts and two distorsion levels to the last one (i always loved to distort breakbeats). I made it several years ago, i think originally at 120 bpm or 140 bpm. . . But i wanted to check out how does it sounds at 96 bpm and i liked. Anyway, this is acid-sized (its duration is exactly 41 bars at 96 bpm), so you can change the speed to any bpm you want. * http://www. Freesound. Org/people/bronxio/sounds/200173/** http://www.
