Recorded this on a trip to a plastic injection factory; i really liked the buzzing background noise, too bad i wasn't able to record it without the voices or the other background noises.

Quick bass shot i did with serum and izotope trash 2 and thats all i remember. This sound is in open domain, use it freely without need for retribution or credit.

I created this sound to mimic the sound of soldiers walking, only the sound of their gear moving and rattling. I created it moving some electric cables :).

Short bassline i made. I think it's (g1-f#1-c1-f0) looped with an a1 in bar 3 between g1 & f#1.

I made this with my keyboard and some pre-set synths on garageband. I think it has a really video game vibe to it, almost like something from system shock or half-life or something like that.

Theme hand saw :. Production step :i reccord the sound of someone speaking. I copy this sound 4 times. One time on two i « invert » the sound for creating a contrast. So four speaking are on the « original sens » and four on the contrary. On a another track, i take another short recording of a men voice and copy this once. I add this new track to the middle of the first once. To finish i chang the pitch of all the track with a percent of change of -24. Description :this sound look like an old wood hand saw. We clearly distinguish the saw movement. Going on and going back. Add a different recoording on the middle allows the sound to be realistic. Because the hand saw sound is not regular. I was reviewing some audio in search of something else, when i realized i had one of the rarest of audio occurrences, the natural queef that comes from coitus and without deliberate inflation. We have the movie "chronicles of riddick" starring vin diesel, and at one point thandie newton walks around him, seeking approval. She gets it, as vin growls, "it's been a long time since i smelled beautiful. " his voice is incomparable, as he exudes a touch of evil with that. Nevertheless i laugh every time i hear it, because it suggests he needs a shower. Try as we might though, we can't quite duplicate it. This was the most recent and possibly best effort. I think i used stereo mics that came with my h5. Recorded on top of a parking garage right next to the airport. I caught this great sound early in the morning before city traffic could get busy enough to ruin the recording. Enhanced with ozone 6 and removed some bassy wind noise with rx5. A car engine startup recording with lom (slovakian microphone manufacturers) omnidirectional microphone ("ucho"). If by chance i gain access to stereo diaphragm mikes of good quality, the re-take of this will be of higher quality. I intended to use this for gta sound modding and for general car ignition noises. For anyone curious, this is a second-hand honda accord (2006) saloon's engine revving, the person revving this vehicle is one of my friends starting it up who i asked kindly if i could record it.

This was recorded as foley for a sound design / composition contract i took for a theatre company. We needed a train sound to signify crates of dead soldiers being shipped back from the front lines, to be processed and fed to soldiers holding encampants behind the lines. It was recorded in an arcade adjoining outbuildings of a factory converted to studio and office spaces. I excused myself from rehearsal to catch the recording shortly after learning a woman i'd been seeing for about a year was through with our relationship. I won an award in composition and sound design for the work i did for the play.

This is for a video game i was making, but i figured it would be a good idea to share this with everyone. This is supposed to be the sound of a wooden container being violently smashed open, such as a barrel or a box, or even possibly a wooden wall. I borrowed a few sounds from the site, tweaked a little of course, and also added some powerful white noise effects to indicate a hard smash. With some layering with twigs cracking and pieces of wood falling on the floor, i think it sounds pretty authentic. . . Or as authentic as it can get!.

I used to work security at an apartment in a major college town so i had quite a few opportunities to catch some action. I'm not going to reveal the name of the city or town i was in for obvious privacy reasons. This was one of my best catches. Her sexy moans makes her sound like a porn star and if i'm not mistaken, i think she was getting anal. For pitching the bass part / tail up and down, i suggest using cool edit pro or adobe audition. Cubase pitching/timestretch algorithms are quite nice as well.

This is a bass kick i made with a nice crunchy toned delay. It started life as a mono bass kick off my 808 drum machine, i converted it to stereo then inverted the right channel, i distorted it and processed it with 100% envelope to really boost the front end punch. It's c2 pitch for convenience.
