I bought this, and while fiddling with it i became mesmerized by the sounds it made. So i decided to record them foley-style. Recording starts with 15-second noise floor. Recorded with an iphone 7.

This only happend to me once in my life and it hurt(i went to the hospital after this attack). I used a device that can give me almost the clearest possible sound of my heart beat. Also i gave the very tiny parts where my heart was beating at 400-600 an extreme amplification because those parts are very quite.

A science fiction, space age sliding door noise made for my sci fi sitcom accidentally reckless. I think this one was made from me making a 'tsch' noise but then with lots of other things done to it afterwards. I think it worked ok (much better than than the one i made out of me making 'zzzz' noises.

If i try to run past this dog's protected yard, he'll come right out onto the road and attack. I've had to mace him twice already. If i walk past and display my mace, he'll let me pass, but he always does this. I'd rather mace the owner, but i can't get him to come out on the road. . .

I recorded some sounds in my school with voices, then i added a percussion record and i made them repeat several times. This make a sound to show that one sound can be louder than an other and make this sound unique. When you talk to someone you heard all noises around you but you really listen to what he is telling you.

This is a recording of the sea-side. The wind noise was was difficult to remove (i hadn't used a wind shield for the microphone); so i decided to use it as part of a sound designed piece. I would use this as background for gaming or for radio drama; you may use it however you wish.

I was trying to record noise outside my house with my phone, but when i tried to amplify the noise, this was the result. Thank you to renard_v for pointing out that these are decoding artifacts/compression artifacts. I didn't know it can sound like that when amplified.

Recorded with zoom h2 at 96 khz / 24-bit. Edited and converted to flac using audacity, otherwise unprocessed. Midway through recording i have lowered my gain setting from hi to mid to avoid clipping. Some background noise (fridge) is left in for noise removal. I prefer to get raw audio from freesound i can process myself - gives me maximum options, that's why i deliver the same. Metal thumpy toilet paper holder. I got a last minute laptop gig and had no samples with me- i needed some percussive sounds to tweak in ableton live. I headed to a public bathroom with my edirol r-09 and recorded lots of hits in the bathroom. This one was an -sounding metal toilet paper holder.

I was waiting for a person at the conservatory of venice and i decided to step out on the terrace and trying a field recording. I was at the last floor of a tall building, you can hear people talking on the ground floor, music coming out from classrooms. Recorded with a zoom h1 without windshield, unfortunately there is some wind and handling noises.

After checking my mail i was walking back to the house and heard this plane approaching. I always carry my yamaha pocketrak and got it going just in time to catch this low flyover. Trying to create a small "engine" for use in generative patches. I use doepfer a-147-2 and alm pip slope. Here i use them in a two voice patch.

I made this with my keyboard and some pre-set synths on garageband. I think it has a really video game vibe to it, almost like something from system shock or half-life or something like that.
