*256 tone = 1 step in 768-tet on C. Equal-tempered: 21/(6*128):1 = 1.56 cents cents. MIDI pitch bend: 64,32 on m2 The 1023rd subharmonic is 1.69 cents, and Sibelius's pitch bend commands are not fine enough to distinguish between these two intervals, as is human perception.
Secondary dominant with barbershop seventh chords. V/V - V - I in F major (G7-C7-F). Derived from [1]. In just intonation. Sevenths are harmonic sevenths, and the F in the first measure is 27.26 cents lower than the F in the third measure. Pitch bend matches intervals.
A12 4 7 10 on C. Traditional notation: C B♭ E. MIDI pitch bend matches intervals. Other non-octave tunings investigated by Bohlen besides the Bohlen-Pierce scale include twelve steps in the tritave, named A12 by Enrique Moreno [1] and based on the 4:7:10 chord.

La Monte Young - Magic opening chord: E♭, E, F, A, B♭, C, D, E♭, E, F, G, A, B♭ = 2:3:7:9:21:63:567:189:567. The opening chord (left), E, F, A, B♭, D, E, G, and A, and the magic chord (right), E♭, B♭, C, E♭, F, B♭.
Mystic chord on C as the 1, 11, 7, 5, 13, and 9th harmonics (harmonics 8 through 14, without 12). 1 = C = 0 cents = unison 11 = F↑ = 551.32 cents = eleventh harmonic 7 = B♭ = 968.83 cents = harmonic seventh 5 = E = 386.31 cents = just major third 13 = A♭ = 840.53 cents = thirteenth harmonic 9 = D = 203.91 cents = large just whole tone
An artistic experiment searching for sound emissions and the limit of human hearing. Composed of infrasonic material that have a low acoustic impedance. Humans will be able to identify tones as low as 12hz. Natural and human produced infrasonic sounds is anywhere, all the time. The artistic idea was to use background noises, signal fidelity, harmonic distortion, low-frequency in order to foster a soundscape of infrasound that travels through space. Made for project that was never released. Think somebody might enjoy or use it.
A sound i made in audacity, basicly a chirp going down from about 500 hz to 20 hz (with a fade-out to limit subwoofer use)and added some ambience by using white noise rumble on the background, also added a slight wah-wah as you might notice. Feel free to use it in a project as long as you give 'olaf gillot' credit. And of course 'freesound. Org' for having such an awesome website, with free hosting stuff :d!.

Dont ask why this is named like that lol, made using a lot of layers but the fundamental of the snare is synthesized, distorted the first miliseconds of the sample to make an snappy transient and make it cut throught the mix. For the process i used analog modelled plugins such as exciters, tube saturators, preamps, coloring eqs, and compressors alongside with some digital modelled plugins such as camelcrusher, transient shaper and sliceeq both by kilohearts, the compressor mjucjr ny klanghelm to amplify the waveform of the sample and finally a clipshifter plugin, which i love it, to limit the snare aggresively.
The range of a Jew's harp as string harmonics:“By using the cavity of the mouth as a resonator, each harmonic in succession can be isolated and reinforced, giving the instrument the compass shown. The lower harmonics of the series cannot be obtained, owing to the limited capacity of the resonating cavity. The black notes on the stave show the scale which may be produced by using two harps, one tuned a fourth above the other.” This file plays harmonics 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12.
Sound create use fm synthesis and use 16 bit for high quality. Create sound use c program. Sample have different frequency (power 2) and length. Last several sample have wave frequency above nyquest limit 48000 hz/2 = 24000 hz. Some effect sound like effect in game strider hiryu (ストライダー飛竜) from capcom 1989 (robot gorilla in level siberia) and sonic hedgehog 1 from sega 1990 (sonic jump in large ring at level end if have more than 100 ring). Algorithm:• one carrier and modulate pair• modulate frequency 1. 4 of note (carrier frequency)• modulate amplitude (β) change from 0. 0 to 10. 0 across note• hill envelope with top at 0. 1 of note length.
Brownian noise sounding like a flying plane at 3×10^4 feet above the earth. . . I created that in audacity! final peak amplitude: 0. 75000 (linear) -2. 49877 db. I applied a bunch of filter curves to make this 90 second loop, normalized to 75% volume. I started with 120 seconds, then made it 90 seconds. Estimated start pitch: d2 (75. 000 hz). Because of the 1024 mb limit, i can't upload the 108-minute version (2 channels, 24-bit, 48000 hz costs 1. 74 gib). Sorry. The final sample rate is 48000 hz, 24-bit wav. I created this myself in audacity 3. 1. 3, so no need to attribute! :). Note: this sounds like it's the 2370 screen ;o).
Over 100 environmental loops in one which are all public domain from freesound. Org. All sound info is in the cue point for each sound. These are perfect backgrounds for videos, for games, or maybe songs of your own? there is lots of different loops for everyone :). Since these are public domain, you are not required to give credit for any of the sounds (including this collection), but if you want to thank an artist and/or tell them where you used it, just copy/paste the file number into freesound's search field and it will help you find the file page. Important:if you intend to register a copyright with the government for works you created using public domain sounds, you must indicate them in the application process (limit of claims section) because you cannot copyright public domain sounds.
Footsteps. . . Note:. These are no field recordings but handmade walking sounds in different speeds and manners intended for game creation. Most of them you can loop. They are recorded as dry as possible so you should add the ambience you like. How to make these:. 1. First empty two bottles of the famous spanish brandy lepanto. 2. Keep the korks - they have a very special sound different from the korks of wine bottles. 3. Then, if you're still able to hit (maybe you shouldn't drink the brandy alone and at once), fill things in a flat bowl or a plate - f. E. Pepper grains or salt. 4. Step the korks in the bowl and record it. You may also - as i did - step the korks on other things like a ventilator. 5. Compress the sounds hard but limit them to -4 db (as they sound not naturally if they are to loud).
90 beats, beeps and blurts culled from freesound. Org's public domain uploads. Also, 13 sounds culled from freepd. Com which are public domain as well. All in one file, separated with cue points that have file info. Easiest way to sort it out is to use a sound editor that can separate the files by cue points into one folder. Mono 44k and mostly 140 bpm, should be fun for rave tracks. Old session file. Check out the session here: https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=rk40_lg_vws. Went to the local grocery store to do some stealth recording for my library. This time i promised my self to make my cuts more musical, you guys know, good outside (or) inside recording can be esthetic in many ways. When you walk around and listen carefully, you can hear music everywhere. When i got home i began chopping, an then i realized i could turn this mini recording session into some cool loops as well. I think its a good way of practicing sound design(or anything musically), to just limit your self some times. Basically got the idea when i was studying musique concréte. (concrete music). Could upload the samples if some one is interested?. I used no effects at all, no panning (stereo recordings) or no limiters/compressors. Some of the recording where made by using binaural microphones. I recorded everything with my zoom h4.

Over 150 public domain sounds curated from freesound and the internet archive. A grab bag of random sounds, could serve as a building block for your music or incidental sounds in a video. All sound info is in each cue point of the main file. Cues that do not have info are part of the group indicated before them (this happens 3 times). To extract all the sounds, use a sound editor like goldwave to break it up by the cue points. Recorded with lifecam hd3000 you can hear kids playing outside my window, the neighbors' stereo in the apartment next door, their air conditioner, their vacuum cleaner after they shut down the stereo, they're tromping around and hitting the walls, a few distant birds, and one toot of a train about to come into town. It's forbidden for them to blow the horn inside city limits.
