Real heartbeat of a sixteen year old male (tall slender build). It is irregular, fast, and loud. This one minute cassette tape recording was done with a microphone on the chest over the tricuspid valve region near the left sternal border.
I recorded these frogs on march 4th in port townsend, wa, usa around 9pm. The sound was loud and intense from so many frogs in a marshy area. I used a zoom h4n pro with a windsock attached.

Heavy equipment of various kinds working on a new four-lane highway. Diesel engines rumbling along, a tracked vehicle, distant warning beeps as equipment backs up, and the loud bangs of a dump truck tailgate as it unloads.
