Single-pitch heavy distortion with multi-layer. Mild modulation. Made for a emotionally intense moment in a horror film. Toward the middle you will hear a very quiet rhythmic element. Used a roland groovebox self-sample utility directly to wav, which results in good recordings, though reduced high frequencies.

Did this thrilling groovy piece of music in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. It starts off with a kind of wicked hard disco-beat. A four on the floor stomping groove. Then a bass line comes in and develops, getting more groovy, more tones. A midpart/breakdown before it goes up into a hard groovy four on the floor disco-beat again. The difference between the mild version and the spicy version is that there is more stuff coming in on the spicy version. Starts off the same but in the midpart there is more going on with guitars, piano, synths and stuff. And afterwards there's a bit of "jammy" section leading to the end. The mild version is more basic, no messing around kind of. Think it would work great to a game, youtube-channel, episode, movie or whatever you feel like. Could be perfect in a thrilling suspence part where someon's beeing chased or are in a hurry for instance. . . Feel free to use it as you like as long as you subscribe to and watch my channel :). Walking on wood floor, medium pace, dress shoes. You can hear mild traffic noises outside. Recording with mxl 990 condenser, mic near the floor, used x-hum and z-noise plugins to clean it up. Two-pole circuit breaker recorded held in my hand, also pressed against a wooden board for more resonance. And some rattling mechanical handling noises at the end. Useful as electrical switch click. 96 khz, 32-bit float. Tlm-103 mic straight into pro tools. The only processing is a mild gate. At least it has a good noise floor.

A simple, peaceful recording of a small patch of woods in the middle of a university city in the midwest. . . You'll hear the gentle, constant " whoosh " of the constant wind. And, occasionally, some birds. The day was mild, for the day it was recorded on february 11th, 2015, and very very bright. Recorded with the marantz pmd661 using stereo samson co-2 stereo microphoneson a tripod in a little clearing in the woods. .

Here's a pretty lengthy recording of the bus i (currently) take home from school each day. Use this for your next short movie or any other project you're currently working on. Recorded via a zoom h4n.

Recorded with a chromebook sitting to the side of my classroom desk. Yes, yes, my 8'th grade class is that immature. A mildly rude, but mostly noisy classroom, with the occasional (controversal) insult, and chattering. The teacher tries to teach the lesson, but struggles with trying to project her voice louder than the class. Eventually, the teacher has repeated twice for the class to calm down, and then the class calms down. May be loop-able with some mild editing in audacity.

These owls were recorded around 8:30 at night in the shawnee national forest using my trusty rode ntg-2 on a mic stand. Even though it was a mild night and the insects and frogs should have been vocalizing, they weren't. It was kind of neat -- a dead-quiet night with nothing but these owls. If you thought that owls only do "hoot-hoot" you'll be surprised. After about a minute into it they really get going.

This is the product of a late night with a new keyboard and a few drinks. Also a first time recording using audacity. All sounds in this piece are bone-stock sounds in the mx49. I only added a bit of mild reverb one sound in one section of the piece. I didn't set out to do something like this - it was only to check some sounds and get familiar with the software. I think of it as the 21st century version of the beatles "revolution 9". I suggest clearing your mind, getting "spiritually lubricated", put in the earbuds, and check it out.

The very unique call of the cuckoo recording on may 23rd, 2015 in southern illinois. This "singing" sounds like nothing else in the forest. They are not very common in this part of the country, so, i am very very fortunate to have captured this primal call on " tape ". Equipment used: marantz pmd661, with stereo samson co-2 microphones mounted on a tripod about 4 feet from the ground. I was set up on a trail on the edge of a large forested area which eventually leads down to a huge lake. Recorded around 6:30pm on a mild evening--partly cloudy and temp was 74 degrees.

A soft and subtle, unedited sound recording from my studio in leeds. On the top floor of my terraced house, i have a large window that opens out onto a quiet street in north leeds. A school is nearby, so there are some elements of children screaming, but overall you get a nice wash of bird song, quiet car sounds and mild wind. This recording would be excellent for atmospheric sound for film, tv or whatever else. Feel free to use this sample and contact me if you want some extended recordings as i'm planning on recording a few more field studies from my area, which is lovely and removed from the main city.

An enjoyable, reflective soundscape of kids playing and swinging and laughing in a park in a small, midwestern usa town. This was recorded at 1:30 in the afternoon on a beautiful, mild november day in 2020. Very pleasing to listen to, and probably helps to bring back memories of your own, warm childhood memories. Even though covid-19 is causing a huge problem all over the world, i find it very soothing and comforting knowing, despite the pandemic, kids are still doing what they've been doing since, well, forever, playing and laughing and having the care-free fun time of their life. Recorded with sound device mixpre-6 and audio technica at8010 omni-directional condensor microphone.

The pretty, soothing, trilling song of the pine warbler. These callings were recorded on sunday march 30th 2014 in a small pine grove, in the middle of a larger forest. On the day i recorded this, the weather was perfectly sunny, and mild -- temps about 60 degrees -- with very little wind. When i first heard this song, i was instantly reminded of a sewing machine. Enjoy. Recording made with my zoom h4-n field recorder, using a rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone placed on a tripod, about 3 feet above the forest floor. To make sure i got a decent level on this soft call, i did have to crank up the recording volume to about 85 on the scale of 100.

I recording made near some woods of the wind ebbing and flowing on an unusually mild day in late november of 2013. What i find unique about this recording is a lone cricket calling out at various times of this recording. . . Makes for a nice, almost melancholy feeling. It is almost like the cricket is not quite ready to hide away for the winter and is taking advantage of a rare 70-degree november day to call out as if to say "hey, i'm still here, waiting. . . In the grass. ". With headphones on, works wonders in clearing your head. . . Recording made at 6:30 at night with my handy / zoom h4 n recorder using the internal microphones, and of course using a very very stout wind screen. Enjoy.

A recording on an un-expected but very welcome warm day in january in the northern hemisphere. A recording of the activity going on at a small park in a small town, in a small region. The beginning of this mid-january 2023 recording features some sounds from several people playing pickleball. Towards the end of this audio, the laughter of the kids really takes center stage. By now covid is getting smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror, mother nature has decided to give us an extra 15 degrees of warmth and the adults, and youngsters are having fun just being outside and smiling and laughing. Equipment used: sounddevices mixpre 3, series ii. Microphone: audio technica bp4025 stereo microphone. Enjoy this recording and may you return to it from time to time, for some tranquil peace and past, peaceful thoughts.

Here are the audience bits from a jazz concert i recorded using an olympus field recorder. The auditorium was intimate and acoustically excellent. In the first section if applause you will here a mild rumble. There was a standing ovation, and that's what that rumble is. I also included some quiet bits of the band on stage getting ready for a song, and some subtle crowd walla as well. There is plenty to play with if you need to loop. You may here some bits of the mc or sax player in the background near the end, but nothing you can't work around if you need to. Check my other up-loads for an extended walla track from this same show. Hope this track works out for you!.

The beautiful, simple call of the field cricket is one of my favorite insect sounds. In late summer though the huge choruses of katydids and cicadas often drown out the simple beauty of this love song. Later, as the season progresses into fall and the temps dip to where the cicadas and katydids no longer sing, these simple, beautiful field cricket calls still last up to the time that the days just can't stay warm any longer. I like to see how late into the season i can hear these guys---something just hauntingly mesmerizing hearing this sound and no other on a mild autumn day, after a cold night. . I was fortunate enough to capture this recording on september 4th 2013 in my backyard. Recording made around 4:30 in the morning with my h4n recorder using its internal built-in microphones.

All my sounds were created for an upcoming motioncomic i created called: madagascar: alex's story. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different roars, growls, breathing, etc. And fiddled with their settings until i got a sound i felt satisfied with. A peaceful ambiance of some pine trees in early, early spring. The predominant, lower-pitched background is the strong south wind blowing through the tops of healthy pine trees. . . An unwavering "swooshing" that cuddles and curls around the flexible, thick-resin-filled pine needles. Also, from time to time, you hear the sound of the wind rattling some dead and brown oak leaves; oak leaves which are still stubbornly hanging on to their parent tree. I purposely did only a very bare minimum of post-processing on this sound so as to keep it as realistic as possible. Yes, there are quite a few wind rumbles that i toned down just a little bit. I did not totally get rid of the wind rumbles. I did this on purpose so you the true feeling of " being there " on that mild, but still raw cold day of spring could still be felt. At 4:35 into the soundscape the trilling of a pine warbler is heard---a warble of warm-sounding notes fighting back stubborn winter. At 9:33 that hardy year-round resident, black-capped chickadee starts tweeting about. Recording made on saturday march 25, 2023 using a sound devices mixpre-3 series ii and only one microphone. I used a sennheiser mkh 8070. Enjoy this soundscape of winter slowly losing its grip, as told by pine trees and brown, crackly oak leaves.
