Recorded in the archeological site of palenque while working on the restoration of mayan architecture, this sound would be heard every morning before the site was open to the public (date: summer of 2018).
Caught a heavy downpour while at home and figured i'd capture it for posterity. The recording features rumbling thunder, an ambulance in the distance and a piston airplane flying over. The storm gradually drops in intensity.

This is high-quality, pacific northwest rain falling on a hot summer night in vancouver, british columbia. The rain becomes more intense mid-way through the recording, and then it tapers off.
So, i recorded sound of wind blowing using my mic. Yeah its not really wind since it was me who was blowing the air to make this sound but it sounds similar. Feel free to use it :).

The sound of a cicada can be deafening, but it can also be the perfect buzz to drown out the negative thinking in your head. It's loud, overpowering and sharp, and it's really weird that it comes from an insect.
Thunderstorm developed over pécel on 6th august 2014 and produced about 5-6 mms of rain with heavy rainfall (large raindrops). This only one-thunder thunderstorm was recorded by my sony stereo dictaphone.

Distressed cicada on the ground clicking or trilling very fast and loudly. The insect had dried and flown, apparently, but for some reason landed in the wrong area in the late afternoon on a very hot day.

A great underwater sound effect. It is actually the sound of a Gulf ToadFish a rare fish that resembles a toad. Either way this sample is a great example of underwater acoustics.
