Some crickets recorded at night near a small gas station off a highway in nebraska. Sound is stereo and loops more or less seamlessly if needed.

This recording is honestly more amusing than good. I was walking on a trail at victoria bryant park when i found a part that was flooded. I tried to go around it, and accidentally stepped in some mud. So i took a minute to record myself walking in it.

Clean notes played on a home-made diddley bow. Sampled with an electric pickup and a little added reverb to make up for lack of sustain. Seasick steve inspired me to construct a diddley bow (it ain't hard). All you need is a length of wire, 4 or 5 ft of two-by-four, some timber nails, an empty bottle and a hammer.

The sea was fairly choppy/rough and this is a recording of the waves crashing against a break water/wall with some occasional spraying sounds. Theres a great stereo effect of the waves hitting from left to right. Could be a good sound for any on boat/stormy sea needs.

Incredibly clear quality of a dvd case opening and closing, i used audacity to remove some of my camera's noise and the result honestly blew me away. At around 3 seconds in i say "again", to clarify that i was opening and closing it one more time, edit where needed.

Here are the audience bits from a jazz concert i recorded using an olympus field recorder. The auditorium was intimate and acoustically excellent. In the first section if applause you will here a mild rumble. There was a standing ovation, and that's what that rumble is. I also included some quiet bits of the band on stage getting ready for a song, and some subtle crowd walla as well. There is plenty to play with if you need to loop. You may here some bits of the mc or sax player in the background near the end, but nothing you can't work around if you need to. This is a random synthesized click-sound followed by a reverb with 200 ms pre-delay. I used cubase roomworks and roomworks se for the reverb, synth 1 for the click and various plugins to master the samples a little. Still they sound pretty unprocessed so you can edit them to fit your needs.

I recorded this sound at home, in the belgian country during the end of a storm (but there is no thunder sound). You can hear rain falling and a river flowing nearby. Very relaxing and useful if you need a rainy ambient sound. I recorded this simply with a tascam dr-40 (internal mics) and just edit it properly with audacity.
