A near chaotic experiment. Im mixing cycling envelopes and lfos to generate triggers. The four sounds are totally unrelated. > bass drum. > snare (or something. . . )> bass. The pitches for the bass are generated withthree mixed lfos. A trigger is generated from the quantizerwhen the cv changed enough to generate a new note inthe selected scale. > ear piercing and annoying sound. Three minutes of more than enough.

Traffic Signal (Sr Sped Up)
This is the new talking traffic signal in town. I got the idea to speed it up from listening to some radio commercials where the person talks a mile a minute to cram as many words into the commercial as possible. They really are damned annoying when they do it, but i get a laugh out of my version. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak with one track duplication and edited in sony vegas. Walk Out My Door Nyc.
A mostly mellow recording of the streets around east village, new york city. Recorded on thanksgiving '22 so the streets were a lot more empty than usual. By the way, the reverb you hear at the end of the clip is the natural reverb off the surrounding buildings of a woman who was talking quite loudly - she was around the corner from where i was standing.

Gurgles
This is a gurgling sound i created by accident. It's a short clip from the "new dimensions in sound (1957)" public domain clip from the prelinger collection at archive. Org. Specifically, i used this line: "as the record plays, the needle wiggles. " cut out the first part, made a loop of "the needle wiggles. . . The needle wiggles," and lowered the pitch with reapitch by two octaves. This was the result.

Fbi Houston Patch (Extended)
This is an extended version of my previous entry recording of the radio patch from the houston fbi field office i recorded from my police scanner. They do a radio check test every thursday night. They call various federal agencies around the houston area in the new p25 digital radio system, not analog. Some of the agencies respond, some do not. I wanted to post this so the other agencies could be heard during the radio check. Enjoy!.
