Small, six note marimba, recorded wide stereo with a sony pcm-d50. The notes are, from low to high, f, g, a, c#, d#, and f. Two samples were taken per note.
Wine glass, tuned with water, rubbed with pressure in a circular motion to produce sustained distorted tone. Recorded with olympus ls-10 (no zoom) in a small reverberating bathroom, edited in audacity to make a seamless loop. The whole pack intended to be used as a virtual instrument. Note c#4 (root note c5, 440hz).
Simplest type of metric modulation in Bach. Slow introduction followed by Allegro, traditionally taken twice as fast. Eighth notes in the new tempo prepared by sixteenth notes in the old tempo ( = ).

C major and E minor contrast through their respective notes C and B (in red and orange), each a half step apart or leading tones. The chords share two notes (in blue) however.
