I like snares.

Same as the punchy soft snare (short), except with more white noise at the tail.

Heavily processed, strongly compressed, tight and bright punchy tekky snare sound nice for producing technoid-neurofunk drum-n-bass.

A remake of my "punchy snare 4. " it sounds a bit better in my opinion. Might compare it to xkore's snares, but still not there yet.

A softer, yet punchy? snare that i made. I decided to add a kick to it because, why not?.

I guess you could call it punchy. I used a basic snare with a little white noise, a high pitched punchy tom, and a little white noise. I eq'd the snare and tom to 200hz at around the 6db range.

This is probably one of the best snares i have made yet. Hard transient, tape saturated, and squashed to bits, when played with very bright sounds and heavy bass, this really can handle it, and cut through.

A lot of eq-ing, layering, and saturation was done on this snare, thought it sounded nicer than snare 1, but snare 1 is more malleable than this snare when it comes to mixing it, since snare 1 is way less filtered.

This is a really punchy drum loop that runs at 172 bpm.

Got around to putting a swish noise on my punchy_evolution 2 snare and the result was alright, then i compressed it a little bit and put a little bitcrushing on it to maximize the volume.

Made a nice lil low end snare because i was bored, probably the cleanest sounding yet. Mixed a low end tom with a snare and then did some compression, saturation, and excitement.

A single hit of a 7 x 14" dw edge snare drum. Recorded with a beyerdynamic m201 mic. Sounds even better if you pitch shift it lower!.

Layered a nice snare, some noise, clap, and even a really pitched up kick( like 24 semitones up) to get this sound. Added in some tape saturation and compression(rough rider) and voila, i made a dirty snare. :).

Tried to add sub harmonic content to a snare, so a lot of the punch in this 200hz snare comes from harmonics like 50hz 100 hz etc. Execution prolly wasnt too great but i like how it came out.

One snare out of a bunch of custom snares made by me, combined samples, multi-band compressed and hit to tape. Custom to the point that i layered and re-sampled, layered and resampled. So much mangling and layering and resampling that its impossible to tell you the source to these snares.

Just a mixture of multiple samples i created over time. Layering a swish noise which was basically a white noise sample with an eq envelope, lowpassed snare, and a not-so-highpassed clap, compressed and saturated. Enjoy!.

No credits needed! use it however you like!. I felt like sharing this snare drum sample i managed to create in about 20 minutes using a random drum sample, noise generators, and a little synthesizer with some heavy processing going on. It's very punchy and probably very usable, too.

Basically layered a 200hz snare body, similar to a 909, low-passed and saturated. Added in a transient sound, then a certain impact sound that you wouldn't expect, layered together with some high end white noise, compressed, then used a transient shaper for that final touch.

Same drums as the first loop but more straight forward, like in the drop to skrillex-equinox.
