2,547 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Reverb"

This is a repost of beerbottlewhoo. Ogg. It's the same sound except that this one is in wav format. Glass beer bottle blow sounding like the background "whoo" effect in the movies alien and blade runner. Mono. Old school spot effect. Helmholtz resonance using a partially-filled (for pitch tuning) glass beer bottle. The resulting tone was sampled, bandpass filtered, pitch bent and laid over a copy of the original sample. Reverb added post-effect to push the sound back and smooth out some nasty quantizing artefacts caused by the pitch bender.

In this sound i can imagine a monster in a horror game that is stressed because it can't catch its prey or another thing i can imagine is that the beast has been injured and is roaming around in pain. I made this sound using vocal sounds from a lion! i used fl studio like i always do and added effects like reverb, some eq and i also reversed the file to. This was originally a friend's cat meowing but it has been processed heavily. First, it was put through a granulizer and the pitch was dropped -2 octaves. The sample was then panned l-r using automation, and bitcrushed. Lastly, to get a slight detuned feel, i added a chorus effect. This sample sounds even better with some convolution or hall reverb but i left this effect out since it's usually a effect users want total control over. The end result is a strange, alien sounding noise.

I recorded this with my zoom h2. Held the recorder the wrong way at first so for the first half of the recording you hear more reverb than direct sound, then realised my mistake and turned it the right way. I made some splashes with my hand so that it doesn't sound too monotonous. Some of the sound is water running into the bath, some - into the sink, i'm sure you can hear which is which. Hope you find it useful for whatever purpose you might need it.

5 individual sounds created for a cyclops monster in a project that was cancelled before any real sound design could begin. This sound was created by recording various vocal noises and importing them into pro tools. Each vocal take was then pitch shifted down by -24 semitones and duplicated into 4-5 layers. These layers were processed individually using techniques such as reverse reverb, distortion and eq to emphasise different aspects of the creature's roar. The final sound is a result of all these layers playing simultaneously.

These are some announcements you might hear at a german train station. I recorded myself with an iphone 6, and then played around with an eq and a reverb-effect in audition to get the sound. Translation: please do not leave your luggage unattended. Please use the marked-off area to smoke. Information on regional train 341 to landshut, leaving from platform 2. To create this sound i recorded myself opening a can of coke in my bedroom. To record, i used my aston spirit microphone on cardioid polar pattern and my focusrite scarlett 18i20 second generation (2nd gen) interface running pro tools from my mac at 48khz, 24 bit. I also used a reflection filter to lower rt60 so this sound has minimal reverb to tape. The cable i used was made of canford hst cable and has neutrik xlr connectors.

Just some recording of a dried, brittle chili pepper with little seeds inside - up way way close to the mic (a zoom h2n). Some suggested sound design use cases: run this through granular fx for a nice drone texture. Use as an impulse response for a convolution reverb (then run tones through the convolution). Use as a trigger in vcv rack, allowing it's peaks to fire off samples or synth pulses. Or just use it plain within your next experimental acousmatic piece hit single.

This jump scare sound was created by playing 2 dissonant chords on a single coil telecaster mic'd up w/ a vox ac 10 amp. The two guitar tracks are panned left and right- reverb and delay are added. Additionally, frequency enhancers were added between 4khz - 6khz which adds a higher tonal energy in the upper range of the guitar. Gain is added which can be heard as signal noise mostly at the end of the clip. Enjoy. Bainmack.

Simple patch. Two oscillators, ring modulation, lfos, vcas and digital effects. No spring reverb this time. Important module is the clock divider. The oscillators where tuned to the same tone one octave apart. Well. . . Not exactly. After having recorded i measured the frequencies 228,8 hz and 117,7 hz. . . But that made the output from the ring modulator interesting. What is generative with this? i modulate amplitude of the sounds and the decay for all thee sounds. This also affects the rhythm sound.

Pretty cool vocal i made for my dubstep track. Maybe someone else might find it useful as well. :)it's loopable, but i left a bit of space at the end for the reverb, so you might want to chop it first, if you're going to loop it. 140 bpm, e minor (probably). Btw i'd be really happy, if you show me what you made with this, but that's fully optional. :d.

(edit of other recording, with eq, reverb etc. ) recorded inside of an abandoned building next to a boarded-up, old wooden exit door. Has a nice, subtle low hum, which is actually from a plane flying overhead. Also contains knocking sounds, which is most likely the door being a bit loose. Would be awesome for horror atmospheres. Feel free to use this sound for what ever you wish to. Credit is appreciated but not needed. Let me know what you use this sound for!.

The 100% genuine and original htx sound in stereo :p. 3 merged samples featuring 21 group-panned notes with portamento and plenty dialed up effets like chorus, delay and reverb, everything except external panning, digial dc-filtering and volumeramps are comming straight out of the novation x-station. Rumor has it that the core of the original thx-sound actually was programmed in csound in case you want to recreate the original. A google search will give you the right pointer. Fixed high-pass version without the dc and normalized. Individually packed for freshness.

Variation of the loop from:http://www. Freesound. Org/people/maxndee/sounds/106962/. Placed each hit on beat of 125, then put it through a saw tooth transformer, then slight reverb and compression. Other little details like raising one side by 2 decibels to even things out. Also, arranged the rhythm according to a phrase i thought made some more sense, added a couple of variation percs of my own to fill in the gaps. Put either a different eq on them or changed the pitch. Enjoy.

This is the second version without the mechanical bolt. Maybe can be used for bolt action rifles. Made this is ableton live, it is multilayered with the top end of a 9mm and the low/mid range of an ak47. Another carbine sound is faded in after the transients to give more sustain. Two reverbs fade in and out creating a smooth transition and blend. A little white noise is added for subtle sheen and air. All the layers were grouped together into a single band compressor and ran through serum fx distortion and then into a krush distortion plugin for added fatness. A blending reverb was used to glue the sounds into the same space and ran into a final transient designer which is adding a little more snap and punch and clipping the excess transients off. Enjoy.

A friend and i have carefully re-created a sound very similar to his boom sound from scratch using thor synths and reverb in reason 7 and cubase with some tweaking in soundforge. This is the product of a late night with a new keyboard and a few drinks. Also a first time recording using audacity. All sounds in this piece are bone-stock sounds in the mx49. I only added a bit of mild reverb one sound in one section of the piece. I didn't set out to do something like this - it was only to check some sounds and get familiar with the software. A recording of an air rifle being shot in a valley. Recorded on a zoom h4n pro about 5-10 metres in front of the barrel, facing away from the rifle. Edited in audacity. I love the crackle as the shot breaks the sound barrier. Could be slowed down to make it sound like a larger weapon, or maybe even used as an impulse response. This sound was created artificially. In general, it consists of four main layers. 1. The sound of noise overboard (created from white noise). 2. The sound of clanking of the inner skin synchronously with the sound of wheels (created from white noise). 3. Metallic noise. Created from the sound of bolts shaken in a metal can. 4. Actually the sound of wheels (created from ten sounds of various metal and percussion). A rather complicated equalization was applied, and filtering in several stages. Also, the sum of the sounds is processed by the convolutional reverb.

It annoyed me i couldn't find this atmosphere anywhere here, so i decided to build this for you: remember the classic "thunder rolls then a wolf howls" sound bed used on so many kids' shows back in the 1970's? well, here you go! this is uses the classic thunderclap by a freesound user whose name i can't remember but will ad when i do remember, some more classic moaning wind by me, a retro wolf howl performed by yours truly with added reverb on top. Use freely and enjoy.

I was just going through my sounds, when i decided "hey. . . I'm gonna release this. " so here you all go! i'm really proud of how this turned out. This, as you can tell, is a deep eerie ambience loop. It can be used for anything you want. I like to leave things up to the imagination of the audience. How it was made:. Software used:-fl studio 20-harmor-harmless-fruity parametric eq 2-valhallaroom. So basically what i did was get a low pitch sawtooth waveform, put it through some effects like harmonization, a low pass filter with high resonance, a phaser, and a load of distortion. The main synth is made with harmor. (yes, this is all one synth. It just has a lot of dynamics. ) i then processed it with some eqing. What made this sound what it is would be the reverb. I put 2 layers of valhallaroom on the synth. One has a very short decay time, and gives it texture. The other gives it the atmosphere. To add some more depth, for the final touch, i layered a sub-bass underneath it. Which is just a low sine-wave with reverb on it, which i used harmless to make. I hope you enjoy this!.

Made in ableton live. A slow firing heavy weapon. 19 layers were used to create this one. Eq was used to select different frequencies from various weapon samples and compressed together for the inital transient or pop. Time based fade in/out layering was used for the sustain and reverb tails so they fit nicely together. The single shot that was layered together was then printed as a new audio sample. I created a loop and pitched every shot by a few cents or 1 semitone to add variation. Each sample was then manually shifted on the timeline forward or backward by milliseconds to give a more realistic feel in timing rather than sound robotic. Each shot was sidechained to duck down in volume when a new shot triggers for more clarity. Mechanical trigger and bolt movement samples were add in before/after the initial transient of the shot. Shell hit floor samples were used for added detail. I felt the shots lacked a good sub bass so an eq was used to filter out the sub and replaced with a rapidly decaying 808 kick drums sub. Once the loop was formed, all shots were then grouped together and processed with a transient designer into a clipper, a compressor, a maximizer, ott multiband, gluing reverb, stereo spread and then into a final limiter. I wanted to find a good creative commons 0 sound effect of fingernails scratching on a wooden surface but i could find the exact thing i was looking for. So i recorded myself scratching my bedroom door with my fingernails using a recording app on my phone and edited it in audacity to remove breathing sounds, and to make the sound feel more heavy/deep, including some very faint reverb. Since i really wanted this i thought it might be useful for someone else! i hope someone else out there like me finds this somewhat useful. Theres a bit of a clicking noise at the end - i think from the recording process.

Various sound effects from children's toys edited together. All are on a low quality speaker, but are usually unique. All spoken word sounds as well as specific things like laughs or animal sounds are in different sounds. They range from real sounds like cowbells and car horns to blings and ascending synth sounding noises for a correct answer.
