It was raining today and i heard the frogs, decided to record some ambience. So it's just the rain on the street outside my house with the occasional gray tree frog mating call going on too. Recorded on a tascam dr-05 and highpassed at 50hz to clean up some of the rumble. Show me what you make with it in the comments!.

Recorded with zoom h2 to 96 khz / 24-bit wav, encoded to flac with audacity. There's some background noise and touching sounds, possibly useful as foley. The initial pressure jet is distorted, so you'd need to clean it up a bit or use for special effects instead. Enjoy!.

Hey!. I've made this for a friend's project. But the project is now stalled, so i decided to release my work to the world. The sound is created with multiple layers of zynaddsubfx digital synthesizer. Sequenced and rendered using lmms. This was my first serious attempt at creating high-quality game sounds. I've spend quite some time refining and adding detail to the sounds, so they are rich and convincing. I hope this is a production at top level, that could be used in a commercial motion picture. Have i reached my goal?. If you want to use them, you'll need to edit it by yourself :). A recreation of a lavalier microphone pop. Useful for reality or documentary where an interviewee may rip off their mic or you simply want to create the illusion of that drama. Also useful to incorporate into a "signal lost" effect, etc. Processed with some limiting so it's tamed and ready to throw in a mix. Recorded with an mxl lsm-3 dynamic mic, no reason to abuse my real lav mics.

I was playing around trying to create a different sound when i accidentally created this sound which reminded me of a rocket flying by. I thought it might be useful and uploaded it. I kept it a bit longer so you can edit it into a loop or fade it out to make it seem the rocket flies away =). Made with fl studio with the free firebird vst plugin.

Another one with 1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 33 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. So, what do you think? one more time i switch looping mode off and then on. Cool technique.

I made this sound for a show simply by breaking a large amount of pasta various ways, then combining and altering everything in izotope rx 7. Needed a tea kettle sound, so i recorded this. From a hot near-boil to full whistle, and turned off. Apologies for my voice at the end, responding to my girlfriend yelling at me for boiling water multiple times at 11:00 pm. Recorded with at2020 usb directly to audacity on my macbook. Noise removed (i think).

*** please rate this sound if you download and like :-) ***. This is a common dance sweep generated only with a white noise filtered with ableton's "auto-filter". It lasts exactly 16 bars at 120 bpm. This fx has no effects inside, you can get excelent sounds by adding on it flangers, phasers, choruses, delays, reverbs, sidechain from kick and so on. . .

Every now and then i get on reaktor and jam out a load of abstract weirdness to cut up and be used or further processed, i am uploading some of the raw, continuous files for you to do the same. They tend to be kinda aggressive, but not always and not unusably so (in a commercial sense).

I tried to mock the sound of spinning the chamber of a revolver for a game. Didn´t find anything that fit my needs so i tried to produce one on my own. It´s a ratchet, spun once and played with about 150% speed. No attribution needed, all rights waived - just send me a message if and how you use this sound!.

Sounds of a fireworks show i recorded at a private party last year. While not the sound of a huge fireworks show you might hear at disneyland for example, i was right under the rockets being launced so i think it captured good sounds. It was over a lake with a crowd and boats coming and going but i think i was able to edit all those sounds out.

Well. . . I have done some trance stuff to use in songs. . . If there's any need for them. . . I hope you people like them, i'm making more all the time. I forgot how i made this one. All i know is i used paulstretch and reverb. I love making horror sounds, ya know? but yea, again the title says it all. I've been uploading to freesound all day, so i'm out of description-writing fuel.

An elderly bathroom extractor fan is switched on with the lights, left running, switched off and eventually cuts out automatically. Its bearings might be about to pack up, or there's something catching the blades, or both! the start was surprisingly noisy so the file has been hard limited to -1db. Recorded with a sony pcm-m10.

A recording made near monument creek. I needed to block wind noise and so there are strange fluctuations with the eq, although maybe this is a feature and not a bug for someone out there. I walked away from the rapids until i was about twenty feet away. At one point, a helicopter passed over, and you may hear a motorcycle ride by.

This sort of kickish type sound is one of my experiments with my model d. The ones near the end sound the kickiest and there's a nice filter sweeping as it goes along. It was made with extraordinary plugins erhu guzheng yangquin and a sense of extraordinary expression, valley reverb, and glides. Authentic expression of chinese traditional instruments is hard to imitate so this scene is very short, but useful. As always, my sounds are free, but i'd like to hear your artworks when using a sound, or part of a sound. Also, it is a pleasure to me, if you're referencing this source in your credits.

Recorded inside a closet. Low noise, not much reverb. Sounds almost machine-like with a satisfying thump. Recorded on a phone. I messed around with it to get it to sound nice. In case you do something that mixes the channels: on the opening part i copied a 5khz to 8. 5khz band from the left to the right channel, so that frequency band is mono.

A very random jazzy little piece performed rather poorly by yours truly on my accordion. Recorded using my laptop's internal microphone, which is about the furthest from professional you can possibly get. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. Used my "stay still!" clip in my mod, and it kept shouting it at me until i got far enough away from it.

This is a recording i took in my back yard on the 4th of july 2014. There are the sounds of crickets as neighborhood fireworks being set off faintly in the background sounding almost like a war zone. The house is off a busy street, so there is also some traffic sounds. Neighborhood dogs bark at the fireworks faintly in the background.
