I like to put special attention into not only the sounds and rhythms used in my work, but also the shape of the tracks itself when looked at in an audio editor. I enjoy working with dc-offsetted sounds, as i believe that, although there is not much of a difference when listened to, they must be picked up differently somehow by the brain.

This is the sound made by the needle crossing the linen cloth during my wife's embroidery sessions. The fabric is under extreme tension in a special wooden frame, it's like a tambourine skin. So when she stitches, the needle goes through the fabric (linen) and therefrom comes the main noise (like a door w/o grease). A second noise is a kind of dry "pop". It's when the thread finishes to run across the fabric, a tiny loop is stuck and the relased, making the fabric jump like a drum skin once again.
