In tokyo everyone lives on top of each other, so practicing an instrument can be a hassle as you dont want to annoy your neighbors, especially if your a beginner. So budding musicians head out to the park where they can practice. The park near me has two or three different instruments being practiced everyday, ill do my best to record and upload as many as possible.

Why does everything i upload sound like people screaming and/or chainsaws!?. Sound source is a contact mic producing feedback into various fx. The main fx used for the clip are a sirkut electronics gnarler, boss metal zone, dod grunge, and finally, a danelectro french fries auto wah. Recorded direct-to-sound card as usual. This is a sample taken from a longer piece.

This is a field recording of a fast approaching freight train coming and going with whitsle blaring. I continued to record the sound of the wheels rumbling on tracks - fades at end. Grudge movie croak sound interpretation. The sound was created using my own voice drawing in air while croaking. It was recorded using mixcraft 6 and a samson q1u microphone. The only effects used were a delay set to long repeat, a touch of reverb while mixing and some compression while recording. Wasn't going to upload this, but it was pointed out to me that it sounds like the intro to a song in a minor key. Not sure i see that, but the suggestion is that some composer will seize on it as an opening to an instrumental that fits it. I want to see if that will happen. If that's not practical, i feel sure someone will find a use for it.

This sound was recorded on a shoot i was on in march, before lock-down. I found when mixing the film that if you apply a cut around the upper-mid range of an eq that you remove a lot of the pressure heard from the exertion of the cork and it sounds more like a bottle cap opening but that's up to you. I'll upload my version of the edited sound as an example.

It's time to go on an upload spree! i've made tons of new sounds when i wasn't uploading, and i think it's about time to share some of them with you people. :) this was really easy to make. I just stood outside for a little while, recorded the outside ambience, amplified it so it's audible, eqed it, and added some reverb to give it that stereo effect. The upload spree continues! this time i've got another sci-fi sound. The title says it all, folks. It can also be used for not only a robot malfunction sound effect, but a machine glitching sound perhaps. I made ti with a corrupt audio file. I got a part of it, and simply pitch shifted it down, and faded it out at the end.

Another sound effect for when a user clicks on an button in a menu; this one has a sci-fi effect to it. Birds tweeting in the garden with sound of freeway (highway) behind. Traffic noises include hum, cars, and trucks. Occasional use of exhaust braking. Birds are in the garden chirping and tweeting. Useful for a urban garden or other similar scenario. Two microphone setup, both are shure sm57s. Placed on two stands, one channel is nearer to freeway, the other is nearer to garden. Recorded with a behringer umc202hd at 192khz and downsampled to 48khz for upload. No other post-processing.

" i recorded this sound myself with a zoom h2 microphone and a kala classical ukelele.

Here's my first field recording and first upload on here. I recorded my friend's fireplace in his apartment for a theater production through my college for which i was the sound designer and sound board operator. I used a zoom q3hd with its built-in stereo xy microphones at about a foot or so away from the fire (on the bricks directly encasing the fireplace) with some make-shift baffling around the fireplace (safe, i know). This track is an edited version, a sort of "best of".

This is a short radio patch from the houston fbi field office, calling to the houston dea field office. They do a radio check test every thursday night, and i recorded this from my police scanner! they call various federal agencies around southeast texas, but this is just a sample of a decent reply.
