This is a 'epic' rolling-thunder with multiple strikes. It is a combination of the following freesound. Org sounds:thunder by netajthunder 01 by olliehahn12thunder 1 by yoyodaman234. The goal was to get some 'theater friendly' thunder version that has the low base rumbling and also some sharp/crispy parts. This is the same as https://freesound. Org/people/s-light/sounds/414050/only as wav file.

The long version. Profanity. I wonder, is a dispute "domestic" if you aren't at home?. I deserve some credit here. It's hard enough to find rental cabins with no trees or shrubs. Try getting a television station to check it out, forty km distant.

First attempt at recording with audacity and my new keyboard. All sounds are bone-stock from the mx49. I've only added a little reverb in one 15-second section of the piece. I didn't intend to do anything in particular, just checking out sounds on the keys and getting familiar with audacity. I think of it as a 21st century version of the beatles "revolution 9". If you haven't listened to that, you need to.

Tr606+tr808+cr78+casio mt-36+fx+editspart of an experiment with recordings of three of my favourite analogue drum-machines and a keyboard with amazing drum sounds, intended to create the ultimate combination of all four. This is an experiment. This is work in progress. I won't settle on one ultimate sound -- i will upload several best versions of each drum hit gradually as i fiddle with them. Also expect the rest of the kit soon :).

Phased multistricken crash. Based on https://freesound. Org/people/dieselsiselmedia/sounds/387139/. But at 44,100 hz and phased by applying right channel delay. I don't like this version. It doesn't have enough bass. I created it because some nationalist who doesn't recognize the unique identity and sentience of individuals couldn't resample it in standard hz properties.

Recorded on Edison Blue Amberol cylinder record #3220 (unrestored version). The march is often associated with the British TV comedy program Monty Python's Flying Circus (1969–74), which used the piece as a signature tune. Noise left after dithering and phase canceling a tone. A tone was created with audacity's tone generator. Another version of the tone was made by downsampling and dithering the original tone in ableton live. I then phase cancelled the two sounds by switching the polarity of one of the tones and blending them back together in audacity. Because of the phase canceling, none of the original tone can be heard. Only the noise added during dithering remains.

A dark and dissonant hit on the very low piano keys. With a bit of eq to increase the low rumble and a lot of reverb. Not a real piano but a vst instrument. Suitable for e. G. Horror films and games. Oh! Susanna, a song written by Stephen Foster, first published on February 25, 1848. Popularly associated with the California Gold Rush. This version recorded by Henry Burr, Peerless Quartet, and Harry C. Browne, contains spoken dialog in the beginning and the infamous "aggressive racist" verse that is rarely sung today because of its content.

This sound was recorded on a shoot i was on in march, before lock-down. I found when mixing the film that if you apply a cut around the upper-mid range of an eq that you remove a lot of the pressure heard from the exertion of the cork and it sounds more like a bottle cap opening but that's up to you. I'll upload my version of the edited sound as an example.

Tornado siren in streamwood, il recorded during the monthly test. This version is heavily edited, with some filtering and compression applied, as most of the recording was distorted (i was too close to the siren!), although it should be useable with appropriate filtering to suit your purpose. The actual siren is located a short way north west of the geotag (it should be visible using google's satellite view). Recorded using a rode ntg2 into a zoom h4.

This is an editied version of acclivity's sound file, "30832_acclivity_summereveninginmygarden". His original file contains a barking dog, which depending on your usage, can deter from the intent of your project. Since acclivity's recording has excellent signal to noise ratio, and has captured some beautiful birdsong, i thought other people might be able to use this edited file with all the dog barking taken out.

Here's the original version of the mosquito device that's designed to repel teenagers from shops and streets. If you're over 25 you won;t hear anything but the street sounds and a girl laughing. If you're under 25 then you might hear a rather nasty high pitched siren sound. . . Terrible quality (mp3) recording but interesting to know just how much sound isn't heard. Just because you can't hear it doesn't mean it isn't there.

This sample is a vocal "arh" sound, pitch d. It was created by singing "arh" into a dynamic microphone, with pop-screen and recording, through an e-mu 1820, into cakewalk music creator pro version 2. The sample was then roughly trimmed. The sample was then imported into wavelabs lite where the dc off set was removed, the sample was normalized and the trimmed exactly. This sample was then imported back into cakewalk music creator pro version 2, compressed slightly, then duplicated 5 times. Each of these duplications was given slightly different attack and release times, different pan and different eqs. 1 sample was given a multiple voice chorus\flanger effect and another auto-pan. A 6 sample was then added before the main sample, with reduced gain. This sample has increasing volume envelope and "moving" pan envelope. All 6 samples where sent to the same master out where "chapel" style re-verb and compression was applied. The mix down from this was then imported into wavelad lite, dc off set removed and normalized.

User name fmagrao's sound 80761__fmagrao__siren was stretched, put in a sampler and played as described but of varying duration and it would appear that there is an optimum frequency range for these sirens. I will create a lower frequency version in due course and a foghorn/siren hybrid. The sound features on the following track along with other uncredited sounds downloaded from this site and i am genuinely grateful for all those contributions. Https://soundcloud. This is an extended version of my previous entry recording of the radio patch from the houston fbi field office i recorded from my police scanner. They do a radio check test every thursday night. They call various federal agencies around the houston area in the new p25 digital radio system, not analog. Some of the agencies respond, some do not. I wanted to post this so the other agencies could be heard during the radio check. Enjoy!.
