(loud) my own interpretation of what the doom shotgun in 2017 would sound like. Created, by me, with minuscule snippets of audio from the original sfx alongside my own custom-made audio and audacity. Use however you see fit.

I recorded these with my yamaha pocketrak. I used my epiphone sg directly off my simmons d200 drum amp. Edited with sony vegas with 2 track duplications. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :-).

I can't remember what i used to make this splash sound but i probably just splashed my hand into the water of a pool. Recorded using a sony ic recorder and processed in fl studio's edison to remove sound.

Recorded from inside the cormarant bird hide at the ackerdijkse plassen. A nature area where 50 to 60 different kinds of birds live now and what used to be an area where lots of peat was extracted.

What seems to be a malfunctioning alarm at a rail crossing. The clanging of the electronic bell has an irregular pattern and seems muted. Perhaps even more annoying to some than the typical crossing gate alarm.

Made these sounds with a sheet of metal! would love to know what people use it for :).

A vhs hum noise a made in audacity a month ago, which is used for a game i'm working on. You can change volume to your liking, or just do what ever you want to it. Good for vhs effects!.

Several geese honking. Recorded outside amid a gaggle of geese on a zoom h2 in 120* pattern. Might be other fowl noises (not loud) in background, can't remember what was around the geese. This is the loudest part of a field recording.

I created this sound to emulate what a dance beat might sound like in a canyon. Was originally a hot dog warmer with a nice rattle to it. Recorded on zoom h2.

This is a variation on a guttural growl i made to depict some giant bears in power armour. I recorded myself with a zoom h1 and then fiddled with pitch shifts etc to get to this big cat noise (well, that was what i was aiming for).

Was experimenting with involving an adsr in sequencing when this beat suddenly appeared. Had to record it. Saved it in a low resolution mp3 format just to get that old mp3 sound. Meaningless. . . That's what it all about.

The sequence is not stable. I'm not touching the synth. Te electronics are making variations. Not what i thought but interesting. Sequencing in my usual way with a vclfo. My plan was to upload a short loop, but the variations was so interesting. . . .

Walking round the grounds of kirby hall and there was one particularly vocal peacock. Only had android phone with me. Have removed wind interference with eq. There are no other fx on the edit. What sounds like a bit of reverb is from the natural ambience.

I am playing a 9ft long log of ash wood (fraxinus excelsior) that i cut in half and hollowed out then stuck back together 15 years ago. While i play it i am remembering when i cut it and the place it was growing and the reason i felled it, and remembering when i revisited that place 7 years later and saw the tree growing back so well from the cut. I am remembering/dreaming about all the other times i played it and the reasons why. I am "future dreaming" of what will be its part in the space opera and what effect it will have as well :).

This is a recording straight off my phone, so sorry for the terrible quality and the rustling. The speaker in the car was acting up and played some sort of choppy cut of what i believe to be rocket man, since that’s what started playing when the bluetooth got back into range. At the end of the recording you can hear my dad getting back into the car. Use all you’d like, but i do like to hear about where you did use it so i can look it up myself.

This is a mix of deep boom sounds i mixed together. Probably like 30 or more sounds to get just what i wanted, even my own voice mixed in there somewhere. Figured others might find this useful. Might as well say what i used this for. So in making a big huge video for my family, where i've filmed them doing certain things and not tell them why, to which i'll present the video when we all get together for christmas eve, 2019. Theres also a part where i hosted a picnic, filmed everyone, and then asked them to karate chop or kick towards the camera. The next day i went with a crew and filmed ninjas around the park. Edited together with the family attacking the ninjas then the ninjas falling back and exploding with a particle effect on after effects. This is the main sound heard when that happens. I made a few others using this base sound. While i'm bad myself at leaving comments, comments are always welcome to hear what someone used the sound for. Thanks.

I recorded my small house dog being scared. She's always scared for whatever reason and decides to whine. It is a very interesting sound because it almost like she's growling. A stereo recording of rain falling on my car window. Recorded inside my car with 2 nt5's positioned about 1/2 foot from the window. The rain drips harder at the end. I decided to experiment with a metal slinky, with the intention of creating some science-fiction sounds. Here is a string out of what could potentially be used as "laser gun shots". There are a variety of individual shots, and at the latter-half of the clip i attempted to create a cross-fire gun fight. Some editing, including noise reduction may improve what i've done here. *recorded on may 09, 2021 using a sennheiser shotgun mic and a zoom h4n pro (and a shower, of course).

A car parking itself, recorded outside with a r-26 directional microphones and a seinnheiser me66 shotgun. Applied denoiser to remove wind and traffic noise and tiny bit of reverb to flesh out what the denoiser removed. Stereo track.

A big-cat-sounding growl; on the exhale and inhale. This sound was created using my voice, a pc mic, and a pitch-shifter. Not sure what it's suitable for, but friends keep asking me for it (i use it as my empty-the-recycle-bin noise).

Recording of a rubber balloon. I wanted to see what i could capture just using my phone's internal microphone(s). Simple editing in ocenaudio.

Weird little looping, scratching sound effect. Responds well to a lot of different effects. Try looping it or feeding it into a wavetable / granular synth and see what you can come up with!.

I was editing a ringtone of the tardis landing from dr. Who when i accidently made this with that bell toll thing. Makes for an interesting alarm sound. No need to credit but would love to see what it was used in/for :). Edited in audacity using the noise reduction setting.
