This is a simulation of the sound produced by the fabyan anti-gravity device which was built, tested and debunked in 1913 at riverbank estates in geneva, illinois. The device is now in the geneva historical society museum but is too fragile to attempt to operate it. This simulation was produced to accompany an asa conference presentation "what did colonel fabyan's anti-gravity device sound like?".

I was just going through my sounds, when i decided "hey. . . I'm gonna release this. " so here you all go! i'm really proud of how this turned out. This, as you can tell, is a deep eerie ambience loop. It can be used for anything you want. I like to leave things up to the imagination of the audience. How it was made:. Software used:-fl studio 20-harmor-harmless-fruity parametric eq 2-valhallaroom. So basically what i did was get a low pitch sawtooth waveform, put it through some effects like harmonization, a low pass filter with high resonance, a phaser, and a load of distortion. The main synth is made with harmor. (yes, this is all one synth. It just has a lot of dynamics. ) i then processed it with some eqing. What made this sound what it is would be the reverb. I put 2 layers of valhallaroom on the synth. One has a very short decay time, and gives it texture. The other gives it the atmosphere. To add some more depth, for the final touch, i layered a sub-bass underneath it. Which is just a low sine-wave with reverb on it, which i used harmless to make. I hope you enjoy this!.

A plate was placed on a table with a very small height gap so that it vibrated when flipped with a finger. Produces a sound similar to a ruler pushed down on a table, flipped and pulled onto the table. It's a bit difficult to describe but if you hear it, you see what i mean and i'm sure you've done it as well. . ;).

What if we could hear sounds from another planet ?. In this imaginary place, people can visit zoos under water. Here is the sound of a yhtem, recorded by a visitor from inside his personal submarine. A soft texture for synth pads in a3. Built by layering several sine-wave generators to create the note a and some of its overtones. It was then drowned in reverb. The sine-generators played just a short impulse, what you hear is the tail of the reverb, to give it more richness. Post-production: reverb.

A marimba note being struck while thrown in to the air. Can't remember the mic that was used but it was a condensor mic. This was recorded in my room so unfortunately the signal to ambient noise ratio isn't great. The sound can be used for free (though it would be great to hear about what you do with it). I was in my room with my blue yeti microphone and i noticed that i can make a sort of whistle/shrill with my teeth. Edited with audacity. I began my express bus ride at venice and vermont. I proceeded to record my soundwalk for exactly one minute as i rode to venice and normandie. I sat on the top row in the middle of the bus where the two parts of bus are connected like an accordion. I narrated what i heard throughout my journey.

The main sound is the sound of someone playing a thumb-piano. There's also a gong, and two clock chimes. All of these i added reverb to and sloooowed dooooown about -81 percent. I think it sounds like the interior of a giant clock, but call it what you will. This sound is free, anyway. Made with audacity.
