A recording of my bathroom ventilation fan shutters clicking in the breeze. The fan is not on so you can hear birds in the distance, and the wind in the tube-shaped fan chamber. When the wind blows it catches the plastic shutters and they rattle and click. Recorded very close to the fan with two dynamic microphones, there is virtually no bathroom ambience detectable. I'd be intrerested to know what this could be used for!.

I think i used stereo mics that came with my h5. Recorded on top of a parking garage right next to the airport. I caught this great sound early in the morning before city traffic could get busy enough to ruin the recording. Enhanced with ozone 6 and removed some bassy wind noise with rx5. These are two separate recordings with my yamaha pocketrak of a single robin and you can hear the other robin answering in the distance. Though i like to watch robins pull worms from the ground and love their song, they also have a bad habit of sitting on my truck mirrors and crapping on my truck doors. :^) please comment on what you may use it for. :^).

One of the most haunting sounds that i have ever captured. I got on the bus one day and didn't notice anyone on there when i sat down, and then a few moments later, i started hearing this sound. I was confused as to what to do. Do i turn around and look at this laugh-er in the face? what would a person laughing like this do to me if i looked at them? how could a person even laugh like this? it doesn't sound physically possible. As more and more people got on the bus, i saw nobody looking in his direction either. Am i maybe imagining this sound? is there a tiny many laughing in my head?. Upon leaving the bus, i looked back and couldn't tell who must have made the sound, but regardless, it still literally shakes me a bit hearing this audio. . . . The only way to get good classroom ambiance is to record it in a classroom. That's exactly what this is. Recorded in a classroom as the students were studying and the teacher was quietly walking around. You'll hear a few random noises, some papers shuffling, some very muffled dialog, an air conditioner in the background.

I've actually been frustrated with the lack of earthquake-type sounds, sooo i attempted my own. Not very good. It consisted of different items making different sounds, then slowed down, pitch change, some reverse, some echo, blah blah blah. It's a mess, but that's what rumbling is supposed to be, right? also, depending on your speakers, this may be very loud. . _.

A random sound i created for one of my animation. I really don't know what kind of sound do you call it but it is usually used when having a "dramatic" label. Well, whatever that is. Nevermind. Feel free to use it. This sound was achieved by recording myself pounding my table once and slowed it down in audacity while adding a bit reverb to it.

This was recorded at a wedding and celebration party afterward. Several hundred people talking in a very large room. It should be random enough to be used for most any situation where one needs ambient crowd noise. This was recorded directly from the on board mic of a full hd camera that uses acvhd. What you are listening to was rendered off at 48hz and 16 bits.
