Hello World! is a piece of contemporary classical music for clarinet-violin-piano trio composed by Iamus Computer in September 2011. In-cabin recording of a qatar airways boeing 787 dreamliner landing at doha international airport (qatar), followed by announcements in arabic and english. The aircraft touches down at 0:47, the english in-flight arrival announcement is broadcast at 3:44, and there is a bounty of ambient noise including seatbelts clicking, bags zipping, and chatter from passengers. This was recorded in-person from my seat with a tascam dr-40. I was located mid-section (just behind the wings) in an aisle seat. The sound recorded by the high-way. A police car runs very fast with the siren on. Recorded with korg mr-1 and two at3032s. Before this recording session, i lost a sponge head of one 3032, so i took off another one. It was like walking on the moon without space suit.

A beat loop i remixed from two other freesound files (btn006. Wav by junggle and light-switch. Aif by dropthedyle). I changed the speed slightly, and pulled together the rhythms so that i could copy-paste or repeat it in audacity without having to trim out hiccups. It's 4/4 time, just a little faster than 60 bpm.

Built on 'synthetic kick drum' with the following differences:. - subtle spatial stereo addition starting from 105 hz- slight adjustments in individual frequency bands to emphasise sound characteristics- pink noise at below -68db for own frequency adjustments- additional slight warm coloration- sending the kick through the neold v76u73 compressor for additional subtle sound distortion without any compression.

Using the remove hum tool on izotope rx2, i took out filtered out the hum that occurs in the 190-220 hz range. I believe any eq could filter that hum out at that range without affecting the bass in the footsteps. I believe the footsteps are in the 50-60 hz range anyway.
