A synthetic bass multisample. I created it using the virsyn cube additive synthesizer (vsti). I applied some eq using the sonalksis sv-517 equalizer plugin. The sound was compressed by the sonalksis sv-315 and nomad factory blue tubes cp2s compressor plugins. All great quality plugs. The sound is a nice but rather static emulation of a bass guitar. Use your sampler's velocity and pitch bending options to bring this multisample to life. All samples in a 24 bit, 44. 1 khz resolution. Loop points were added for sustained notes.

Created by kimathi moore for use in the make noise morphagene. “the sounds i've tried sound very good for the morphagene i hope, and are very personal to me. That was bound to happen, they're now like new creatures to me, listening to them over and over again has made them very endearing to me. I also added my frame drums which i thought would be a good addition, sound tools, heater, julie gillum's woodstove, and a small minimalist piano composition. . In addition to the roster 2 of them are from liz lang, whom i wanted to include here as she was my sound/composition mentor. ”.

Echoey, creepy piano loop from a song i was working on that may never be finished. Removed the hum from cognito-perceptu's pill-bottle-4 sample. Original sample had truck in background in addition to some low frequency hum. Used the remove hum feature on izotope rx2 and, presto-chango, no distracting background noise. Now there is still a high frequency hum which i did not touch. I think this could be mitigated with a low pass filter in eq if you choose.

This sound is a pitched down recording of a metal knife striking the prongs of a metal fork. I added some reverb and adjusted the eq to make it sound like distant swords striking each other. This was used to simulate the ambient sounds of cutlasses in a pirate battle. In addition to clashing swords, this track could be adjusted to mimic the sounds of a blacksmith working at his anvil or flint and steel in lighting a fire, among other sound effects.

A fascinating recording of a warm, humid mid august day in the midwest. This recording was made on sunday august 11th, 2019 near a popular dog park in a small southern illinois town. In addition to the gentle droning of the insects, and occassional birds, you will hear some dogs barking at various times toward the end of the piece. I personally love the tremendous echo on this recording. Equipment used: sounddevices mixpre-6. Microphones: left channel, sennheiser mkh416right channel, rode ntg-2.

Indian hand pumps are manually operated water pumps that are commonly used in rural areas of india. When i recorded the pump is in operation, you may hear the rhythmic sound of the handle being moved up and down, as well as the sound of water being sucked up from the ground and pushed up through the riser pipe and in addition to the sounds of the pump itself, you may also hear other ambient sounds in the village, such as the chatter of people going about their daily activities, the sounds of animals.

Mid/side recording of my stomach after having a fizzy drink. I laid down and placed the zoom h2n directly on my stomach. All kinds of stomach ejactulations can be heard in addition to my heartbeat. Raw 24/96 ms recording; be sure to decode before use. Left channel is mid, right is side. To do this manually you should separate the channels to two mono tracks, duplicate the side track and invert the duplicate. Pan the side tracks hard left and right, and mix with the mono mid channel. Or use a plugin to do it for you :d.

A slinky spring toy stretched out and plucked once from the end, recorded with a zeppelin design labs cortado impedance-matched piezo contact microphone. The resulting recording is a classic spring-based sci-fi "laser sound" with a massive, lengthy, rumbling decay tail. This was recorded at 24 bit 96 khz. In addition to its use as a sound effect, this waveform works well inside a convolution reverb as an offbeat spring reverb impulse response, provided one has the processor power and ram to support a 2 minute 13 second convolution. The cortado's bass response is exceptionally large for a contact mic, so high pass filtering may be desired if used as an impulse response.

This is a first in a series of loops made with the x-base09 drum-kit i have posted long time ago, i thought this would be a nice addition. Loops will be mainly processed in live9. Information will be available depending on the loop. This loop is a dry unprocessed loop, all i did was reduce the release on one of the kicks, as it has a long delay, and i didn't want that in the background of this loop, some midi velocity on the hi-hats, and i added a groove (chachacha) with only 10% quantization. This first loop was mainly to show the original sound of the individual hits as they where recorded, playing as a loop to give you a better picture of the sounds and therefore i added it to the x-base kit instead of x-base loop pack.

The chimes of big ben first appeared on bbc radio at the very end of 1923 to announce the new year. In december 1948 this recording (catalogue number 825677) marked the 25th anniversary of big ben’s broadcasting career. Because the recording was made inside the tower there’s plenty of intriguing mechanical detail in addition to the tolling of the quarter bells and the 13-ton great bell. Big ben is the unofficial name for the great bell. Other london bell names include great paul and great tom in st pauls cathedral, and the inscribed names on the bells of st mary-le-bow in cheapside: katherine, fabian, christopher, margaret, mildred, faith, augustine, john, timothy, pancras, cuthbert and bow. I noticed there were no dry ice on oven rack sounds here so here is a recording of dry ice interacting with a steel oven rack. As the dry ice melts it creates vibrations on the metal that evolve as the material travels across the surface. It is an awful sound resembling a combination of saxophone, violin, bagpipe and screaming (any species). This was recorded on halloween 2018. It was a tradition in my family when i was a kid to get some dry ice on halloween and fill beakers with colored water to surround the candy display. The addition of dry ice on oven rack sound effects developed later and truly scared a lot of kids because it is so loud and terrible. These days we make some dry ice kief as well which makes the holiday even more festive and weird.

Zoom h4n 2018 - onboard microphones. This recording is 17 full minutes of ambiance from inside an in-n-out fast food restaurant. This in-n-out is located in downtown burbank, california located at 761 n 1st st, burbank, ca 91502. The great thing about this recording is that it's free of all music that would invalidate the recording due to copyright restrictions. In-n-out, unlike other fast food chains, does not allow music in their dining rooms. This is because most in-n-out locations are so busy and constantly loud, the addition of music would create an unbearable sense of mayhem. So, rest assured you may use this ambiance in your project with no restrictions!. The beginning of the recording starts during a busy lunch hour. As the recording progresses, the announcements on the intercom stop and things become a bit more calm. Enjoy!. - christopher.

This was recorded by holding a small pcm recorder (zoom h1n) very close to an ipod 4th generation. The ipod was turned on and its hard drive tried to start up. You can hear the spin up of the motor and the hard drive head clicking back and forth. The hard drive fails to power up completely and eventually shuts down again. A 350 hz high pass filter was applied, in addition to audacity noise reduction, to get this clean motor noise from the original recording. The stereo file was then mixed to mono because the mic was slightly off center from the ipod, and the stereo provides no benefit. The hard drive in this ipod is a 1. 8" 40 gb toshiba hard drive, the ipod model is a1059. The microphone was held just 3 cm (1. 2 in) from the ipod. Recording settings were stereo 44. 1 khz at 16 bit (wav format). The file is the same except it's mono.
