This is the sound of my alarm clock beeping. In my opinion, it's one of the worst alarm clock sounds in the world, with a horrible, grating alarm sound. Sorry about the part where i yell at my crew, and the dialogue about the shower curtain. Also when i say "yeah, bitches. " it had been a long day on set.

Recorded with a zoom h2 in 2-channel surround mode, with a windshield (but unfortunately there is still a bit of wind noise towards the end when the police siren starts). Kinda a vapor-y inspired bit of music for a project of mine. I don't know if i will use it or if you will find it useful, but i thought i might as well upload it. I've been meaning to try and capture that magical, melancholy feeling of the late summer and early fall of the midwest woods. This was recorded in the shawnee forest in southern illinois on saturday september 28th, 2019. Equipment used: zoom f4microphones: lom usi pro omnissennheiser mkh 416sennheiser me66. Enjoy the soundscape filled with plenty of birds---but, birds that stay here during the winter.

Water poured into a glass. A selection of 4 microphones and 3 different pour rates but labelling has been lost! microphones were: beyer mce86, samson c03 on super-cardioid, behringer c2, akg c1000 on hyper-cardioid. All the same placement (selected for splash, glass ring and bubbles); behringer ub802 mixer and zoom h1 recorder.

A creepy/scary breathing sound from a ghost or spirit of some sort. This sound was just short breaths and moans into my microphone paulstretched and edited in to this frightening sound. Recorded on a damp night from a beach house at wrightsville beach, north carolina. Audio has been treated for some wind. The whole recording was like an hour long but i couldn't upload that much. Tip: to extend the sound, you can cross-fade this sample pretty much anywhere with itself and the effect is virtually unnoticeable.

A squeaky wooden door being opened und shut in a medium sized room. Its recorded from about 2 meters distance so there's a moderate amount of room ambience on it. The sound has been slightly denoised. Equipment used: akg c214 running through a focusrite saffire pro 24.

Racking the slide on a glock semi-automatic pistol. It may have been a model 17 or 19. Can't remember now. May require some trimming and buffing. I think i recorded this with an akg perception 200 using cool edit -- and i did it to get my room-mate to leave (after we recorded the sounds of several of his guns and a sword. . . ).

I've actually been frustrated with the lack of earthquake-type sounds, sooo i attempted my own. Not very good. It consisted of different items making different sounds, then slowed down, pitch change, some reverse, some echo, blah blah blah. It's a mess, but that's what rumbling is supposed to be, right? also, depending on your speakers, this may be very loud. . _.

I have been in my bathroom, and i started the water running. After i shut it down the faucet started making crazy noises. I than run for my recorder and i have captured that crazy modem-connection type of sound. All happened on 14th of october 2020. You can hear my unstable breath and my dog "focus" (i love him) barking in the background.

This is 2:54 minutes of loosing your mind. It was created while thinking about the vampire club in blade 1, though it's been years since i've watched it. There is not much to say. I know that i created it using a 128bpm environment (soundbridge!) , but tunebat throws it to the 75bpm dogs. Whatever. . . Enjoy loosing your mind. And it is just a beat. :).

Stereo field-recording of early morning (ca. 7:30 am) traffic on a rainy weekday in the little english town of goring-on-thames. The street is quite busy with traffic and has been mic'd close-range, giving quite a wide stereo image. One can clearly hear the rotten weather this clip was recorded in.

22" pacific kick drum. This sample has been reworked a countless number of times until i could get the most balls out of it. Great for many styles of music, maybe some slight eqing to get it in your mix.

This is a recording of very low frequency hum of a steel mill. The sample has been low pass filtered. The main frequency is about at 25hz. The sound was recorded some distance away of the steel mill area, where it mixed with other sounds as a constant hum, which could be felt in body too at certain spots.

To this recording there is a similar recording in with jecklin, useing bothe will creating a nice atmospher for surround ms in front and jecklin in rear.

A live recording of a 100+ choir in rehearsal. Recorded using a matched pair of rode nt5 for the left & right with an additional akg c451 for the centre. The idea of this recording was to capture the way a choirs sound fills a room. Some minor addtional eq has been used in the 35khz range boosting by 1db to give the performance a little oompf.

I've been recording some sounds for a an upcoming project which led me to recording the underside of the lid of a salad spinner and dangling a small plastic tab on it as it spun. It wasn't my intention but it sounds a bit like an old film projector. You can get some interesting results with this clip by messing a bit with the eq which is what i'll be doing for the finished project. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. It's a long, organic and haunting two-tone call echoing in the forest night; a clear alternative to the mechanical and tightly musical ringtones out there, and one i like a lot. Edited to wrap nicely for a continuing repeat.

Cowbell recorded both being shaken, as well as being struck with a pencil. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in adobe audition cs6. Used audition's noise removal tools to minimize audible background noise. While no others effects have been added, i would recommend using a hard limiter of around 10-20db for a fuller sounding bell. Attribution appreciated but not required.
