Piano piece i played on my casio synth. This is a barely adjusted recording with a record-tapeish chorus already added in the synth.

I sampled the bell tree at our church. After seeing how much the instrument costs at the music store, i opted to not buy one. The long version of this moves from left to right, and has the single sample repeat twice. So it begins on the left, has a delayed start in the center, then finally a third repeat starts on the right. Add liberal amounts of reverb, to taste. If you use this in a film, or game, or in music, could you please let me know in the comments? i don't mind sharing stuff for free, but the compensation i get is learning about people using and appreciating the sounds. Thanks!!.

This is one of the several gamakas (http://en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/gamaka_%28music%29), called jaru, which literally means a slide. In this short recording, done at iit madras in india, an artist performs few upward and downward glides.

A low-pitched ringing sound made via a high-pitched asian bell with a clear ringing tone, struck with a wooden dowel, the audio then subjected to a sequence of pitch-changes downward, each combined with a flanger-type effect at various settings for rate, depth and regeneration.

I recorded my voice, layed it out on the track and increased the pitch quite drastically. I layered this with a chirp track so as to contrast the downward rhythm with an upward one. Two flat barges, relatively big, are docked side-by-side (at berth) and rubbing against one another due to choppy conditions. Raw audio edited to remove moments of intense, booming wind noise. Recorded on january 22, 2021 at the staten island ferry terminal & vessel depot in st. George, staten island, new york city, new york, usa on a zoom h4npro recorder with on-board x-y microphone, aimed downward at the barges from an elevated position.

Ocean waves recorded from between two rocks. Recorded on a zoom h4 with the mics covered in zeppelin fur at 44100 hz 24-bit. There's some slight wind noise that can be filtered from 150hz downward. This is part of a series of recordings for an ambient music project i'm working on. There are some excellent ocean recordings on freesound if you're looking for a more traditional ocean sound, but my intent with these clips was to try to capture some natural phase-shifting by placing the h4 in cracks and crevices for a more hollow, "closed-in" sound.

This wav file is a take-away from a midi track my current project. The vst instrument is 4front e-piano and it's free! - the root key is g major, starting off in the piano roll at g3. The bottom drops to g2 and uses heavy steps, separated by a key to reach g2. Going back up to g3, the notes are shortened and no keys are skipped. Hence the fairytale stares ascents. The ceiling above g3 is g5. So 1 octave down, 2 up. The tight stairstep is maintained above g3. There is just downward notes to keep it sounding like a saw form. The entire sound should be in-key and loopable. Each of the 16 bars is unique. I didn't just copy and paste the same notes several times. - my next step is to apply a different midi sound. Sorry for the book. I hope this helps someone.

Made in ableton live this time, it is a multilayered loop consisting of recordings of an ak47, a 30 caliber 1918, and an m60 machine gun to make a rediculous powerful sound. A very short clicky kick drum with the high end reduced is added before the initial gunshot to make it punch more, otherwise it would sound weaker. There are two mechanical bolt sounds, one covering the upper mid range, and the other covering the extreme highs. Shell ejections and two reverb tails were mixed in at the end with some simple automated panning to make it move around the stereo field. The tempo slowly decreases to simulate barrel heating. Lots of processing. The layers were eq'ed, then ran into a software amp that is gently distorting the low and mid range. Then smashed together with ott multiband upward/downward compression to bring out the details. A maximizer was used to bring up the loudness some. Enjoy.
