This monstrosity is what i got when i attempted to add a reduce vocals effect to an episode of an old low-budget nickelodeon show from the 90s. I don't know why, but trying to apply this effect to it only gave me this horrific garble. Kinda like a messed up tape recorder or something, idk. Also removed sounds of a gate and doors opening and closing. There was a slight breeze that a wind sock didn't entirely prevent coming through as wind noise. I have cut most of this.

It's painful but it had to be done. . . Here's the field record of a demolition plant in the paris suburb of pantin. An old factory is beeing reduced to dust, prior to some housing developements. On this recording, you can hear one excavator actually tearing down the building while another one is sorting junk in the backyard. Recorded with a zomm h2n in x/y stereo mode.

Here's a recording made in saint-urbain (charlevoix) pq, canada in the forest a morning of august 2014. You can hear grasshoppers, crickets, wasps and a creek in the background. This recording was made with a sound devices usbpre2 into a tascam dr-680 (spdif) and 2 microphones studio project c1 in ortf stereo pattern. It's in 24 bits 96khz , 40hz low cut.

And, occasionally, some birds. The day was mild, for the day it was recorded on february 11th, 2015, and very very bright. Recorded with the marantz pmd661 using stereo samson co-2 stereo microphoneson a tripod in a little clearing in the woods. .

I used some compression and a bit of eq to make it sound like something you'll hear on a gaming console machine. However, the audio spikes from the high freq took me a while to cut off. Can't figure out why it does that but in my opinion it still sounds good :).

Here's another loop created with my experimental one string dulcimer using an old casstte player head as a pickup. This one's a long ambient loop that can be used as a backing track or chopped up. Opening the back doors: first the storm door and then the main door. Main door closes followed by the storm door. Back door has a slight squeak. The glass-screen door is moderated by a hydraulic door closer which you can breifly hear hiss before the door slams shut. Recorded on a windows x8 phone and cleaned up in audacity.
