Recording of a shaker table using three contact microphones, blended in post to give a good mix of the sounds the table was making. Variations in the tone are the result of issues with the shaker table's power supply.
This is a rubber nut shaker hit from below. Noise removed, amplified to max volume without distortion. Recorded with a very inexpensive mic. Longer of two versions.

A shaker that got shook only once, for a moment or two, before it stuck its head out through the fireplace or whatever. From teaganbear sample pack 01 > claps / percussives. Download the full teaganbear sample pack 01: https://mega. Nz/file/pyjxcsxd#k_cwn8c-e3c4f8e-zwgjnr64a0vec_eelhsshkc92fk.
I recorded my dishwasher with my phone and used made it into a shaker-ish loop by speeding it up and using an expander. Its kinda weird but with the right processing it can give a really nice texture and rhythm to your tracks. Tempo is 125 bpm. Have fun.
This is me playing an egg shaker. It will loop perfectly at 80 bpm or 160 bpm. Basic cleanup in audacity (noise removal, low pass and high pass filters).
